  • Patent number: 11636633
Abstract: Telematics systems and methods are described for generating interactive animated guided user interfaces (GUIs). A telematics cloud platform is configured to receive vehicular telematics data from a telematics device onboard a vehicle. A GUI value compression component determines, based on the vehicular telematics data, a plurality of GUI position values and a plurality of corresponding GUI time values. A geospatial animation app receives the plurality of GUI position values and the plurality of corresponding GUI time values. The geospatial animation app implements an interactive animated GUI that renders a plurality of geospatial graphics or graphical routes on a geographic area map via a display device. The geospatial graphics or graphical routes are rendered to have different visual forms based on differences between respective GUI position values and corresponding GUI time values.

  • Patent number: 11631207
Abstract: Vector object stylization techniques from raster objects are described that support editing of vector objects in a manner that maintains an underlying mathematical representation of object. A raster object, for instance, is generated from an edited version of an output of a vector object. This raster object, along with the vector object are received as inputs by a vector conversion system. These inputs are utilized by the vector conversion system to generate a stylized vector object having a visual appearance that mimics and simulates a visual appearance of the raster object. As a result, the stylized vector object provides a mathematical representation of the raster object.

  • Patent number: 11631353
Abstract: Embodiments transform an image frame based on a position of pupils of a viewer to eliminate visual artefacts formed on an image frame displayed on a scanning-type display device. An MR system obtains a first image frame corresponding to a first view perspective associated with a first pupil position. The system receives data from an eye tracking device, determines a second pupil position, and generates a second image frame corresponding to a second view perspective associated with the second pupil position. A first set of pixels of the second image frame are shifted by a first shift value, and a second set of pixels of the second image frame are shifted by a second shift value, where the shift values are calculated based on at least the second pupil position. The system transmits the second image frame to a near-eye display device to be displayed thereon.

  • Patent number: 11625857
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that tracks an electronic device by fusing tracking algorithms. In some implementations, at an electronic device having a processor, a method obtains pairs of first position data corresponding to a position of the electronic device in a first coordinate system obtained using a first technique and second position data in a second coordinate system obtained using a second technique. In some implementations, transformations for the respective pairs are determined that provide a positional relationship between the first coordinate system and the second coordinate system. In some implementations, a subset of the pairs is identified based on the transformations, and a combined transformation is determined based on the subset of the transformations. In some implementations, content is provided on the electronic device based on the combined transformation.

  • Patent number: 11620725
Abstract: Examples are described of marking specified regions of stored image frame buffer data in an image frame buffer. An imaging system can read the specified regions of the image frame buffer to identify whether the marking has been overwritten or not. The imaging system can thus efficiently identify how much of the image frame buffer has been overwritten with data from a new image frame. Based on this, the imaging system can retrieve partial image frame data from the image frame buffer and can process the partial image frame data, for instance to composite the partial image frame data with virtual content and/or to perform distortion compensation. The processed partial image frame data can be uploaded to a display buffer and displayed by a display, either as-is or once more of the frame is captured and processed. The imaging system can also perform auto-exposure using the partial image frame data.

  • Patent number: 11587214
Abstract: Systems and methods involve detecting objects using a radar system of a vehicle. Tracks of the objects are initiated in a track database. The tracks store data, respectively, for the objects and are updated based on additional detections of the objects. The tracks of the objects are initially unclassified tracks. Two tracks corresponding to two of the objects are selected as a candidate pair. Criteria are applied to the candidate pair to determine whether one track is of a ghost object and another track is of a true object corresponding with the ghost object. The ghost object represents detection of the true object in an incorrect location. The candidate pair is classified as tracks of a true object and ghost object pair based on determining that the one track is of the ghost object and the other track is of the true object corresponding with the ghost object.
