Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for dynamically modifying the user interface of a deployed application. The method including: a deployed application executing on a user device in accordance with pre-stored configuration data to provide at least part of the user interface; and the deployed application receiving modified configuration data from a server. The at least part of the user interface may be modified in accordance with received modified configuration data. The present invention also relates to a method for dynamically modifying the user interface of a deployed application. The method includes a deployed application executing on a device in accordance with pre-stored configuration data to provide at least part of the user interface; and the deployed application modifying at least part of the user interface in response to user input. The at least part of the user interface may be user interface navigation data. A user device and system are also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for providing dynamic and interactive content in an online chat session. When it is determined that an online chat session is established between two devices, an interactive chat engine may begin monitoring chat messages exchanged between the devices to derive a context for the online chat session. A particular workflow from multiple workflows may be selected and initiated for the online chat session based on the derived context. The interactive chat engine may generate a chat object for presenting dynamic and interactive content to the user related to the workflow within the online chat session. The chat object may be inserted into the chat flow of the online chat session. Once inserted the chat object may generate and subsequently modify presentations for the devices participating in the online chat session.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for graphically displaying recommended mappings between a source data object and a target data object in a design time of a cloud-based integration service. The system can include a recommendation engine that provides recommended mappings between the source and target data objects, so that the recommended mappings can be graphically displayed in a mapping interface. The recommended mappings can be filtered based one or more filtering criteria. Each recommended mapping can be displayed differently from an actual mapping, and can be associated with a reliability/quality indicator. A particular recommended mapping can be accepted to become an actual mapping, or to be rejected. The system allows a user to toggle between actual mappings and recommended mappings between the source and target data objects.

The electronic device includes a processor, a touch screen and a memory including instructions executable by the processor to execute the method, including: when detecting a first touch input to the touch screen, identifying an orientation for arranging a plurality of selectable objects, rearrange one or more objects from among the plurality of selectable objects according to the identified orientation relative to a location on the touch screen where the first touch input is detected, and outputting information associated with a particular object from among the rearranged one or more objects corresponding to detection of a second touch input.

Abstract: A method of performing list report actions, the method including receiving an indication of a selection of one or more list report cells on a list report user interface, identifying the one or more selected list report cells, providing a cell busy visual indicator for display on the user interface for each selected list report cell, communicating to a backend process identifying information for each selected list report cell, waiting for a response from the backend process, continuing end user access to non-selected cells of the list report user interface during the waiting step, if a response is received from the backend process, then removing the cell busy visual indicator from each selected cell, and updating respective cells with content from the response, and providing end user access to the selected one or more cells after the update. When a user selects a node, the user interface displays a change list pane, which is an ordered list of secondary operations performed at the node. When the user provides input to perform a secondary operation at the selected node, the user interface (i) performs the secondary operation, (ii) updates the selected node with an indicator that the node includes secondary operations, (iii) determines a logical ordering for the secondary operation based on the primary operation, and (iv) adds the secondary operation to the change list pane according to the logical ordering.

Abstract: An audio and visual representation of the transition between focus components in a GUI is provided in order to assist a user in understanding the design and layout of the GUI. A focus component is associated with a spatial position in a GUI or window and audio characteristics are generated to represent the focus component that is based on the spatial position. The transition between focus components can be represented visually in the GUI as a path of time-ordered user-selections. The transition between the focus components may also be represented by a continuous audible tone that changes in frequency and pitch between the focus components.

A digital receiver runs a plurality of applications at the receiver device. The digital receiver detects a switch command. The switch command causes a background application to become a primary application, whereby the primary application is the application in focus on a display device. The digital receiver switches the background application into the primary application, the switching causing a previous primary application to become a new background application.

Abstract: A haptic device includes a display configured to display an image, a haptic output device configured to generate a haptic effect to a user when the user interacts with the display, and a processor configured to receive information related to the image displayed on the display. The holographic display may be coupled to processing circuitry and display controller circuitry that may generate a multi-dimensional interface. The multi-dimensional interface may accept input from human interface devices that may translate human motion in multi-dimensional space into the multi-dimensional space of the multi-dimensional interface. The multi-dimensional interface may be generated by a holographic interface stack executing on the processing circuitry.

Abstract: Techniques and systems for collaborative document editing and generating feedback on draft documents are described. A draft document is shared with multiple readers in a file format that is the same or similar to the file format in which the document will be published. The readers provide comments on the draft document. The comments can be stored in the same file as the document. Feedback may be solicited from a reader based on reading activity while interacting with the document.

Abstract: The subject disclosure is directed towards a task switching technology on a computing device such as a Smartphone. An application is comprised of one or more tasks. When a user requests that another task be executed, information about the previously executing task (e.g., including a screenshot) is preserved to a stack. If the user invokes a task switcher program, the user is presented with a view of the stack, e.g., containing the screenshots (and representative text) of the tasks that previously executed. The user may navigate among those presented task representations to arbitrarily select any one, with the selected task resumed upon selection.

When a touch is received, a sensor component sends a signal to a measurement component. A selection, by a user, of two or more occluded videos of multiple occluded videos that include (i) video on a displayed first page occluded by one or more pages of multiple other pages opened and displayed and (ii) video on selected pages of the multiple other pages occluded by an opening of subsequent pages of the other pages. A selection by the user of a page of the multiple other pages on which to view the two or more occluded videos is received. The two or more occluded videos are transferred simultaneously to the selected page. The two or more occluded videos are displayed on the selected page for continuous viewing by the user.
