  • Patent number: 11853919
Abstract: A mobile wallet system to users is described. The mobile wallet system allows users to provide payments to merchants via the mobile wallet system. Users' mobile wallets are linked to payment forms associated with the users (e.g., bank accounts, credit cards, gift cards, etc.). Additionally, the mobile wallet system allows a first user to request funding from or provide funding to a second user for certain transactions. To pay for a good or service provided by a merchant, a user selects a form of payment, which may be another user, and provides a code to the merchant, which is used by a merchant computing system to initiate payment from the user to the merchant via the financial institution computing system.

  • Patent number: 11481765
Abstract: A plurality of transactions initiated by a user through a user account and need to be concurrently executed is received. A Nonce list corresponding to the user account and maintained in a blockchain is accessed. The Nonce list includes a plurality of Nonce records, and each Nonce record includes a group identifier and a Nonce value. Available Nonce records are obtained for the plurality of transactions from the Nonce list. The available Nonce records are respectively added to the plurality of transactions. The plurality of transactions are published in the blockchain, so that a node device in the blockchain matches the available Nonce record in a transaction published by the client device with the Nonce records in the Nonce list. When the available Nonce record matches a target Nonce record in the Nonce list, the node device processes the transaction, and concurrently executes a plurality of the processed transactions.

  • Patent number: 11461816
Abstract: A system for validation of healthcare provider bills includes obtaining an image of the bill on a mobile device which uses optical character recognition to resolve the patient identity, provider identity and amount due as alphanumeric characters. The system also receives adjudicated claims data from insurance companies in a non-standardized format. A claims conversion server converts the adjudicated claims data to a standardized machine-readable format. The standardized adjudicated claims data and provider bill are validated against each other in real-time so the patient can make payment in an accurate amount without having to first receive and decipher an EOB form.

  • Patent number: 11455685
Abstract: Various of the disclosed embodiments concern systems and methods for expediting the settlement of securities traded on an exchange. A settlement system can generate electronic records of financial transactions by bundling a trade report, clearing instructions, etc., into a cryptographic ledger. Current cryptographic ledgers do not handle transactions at the rate which securities are traded. In order to improve rate processing for cryptographic ledgers sharded transaction trees are used.

  • Patent number: 11410111
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that include predicting a business metric associated with a given business enterprise using machine learning algorithms that have been trained on data, from other businesses, about that same business metric. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes selecting, from a data set, a training data subset and a test data subset; generating a plurality of candidate models configured to generate a predicted output metric, wherein the plurality of candidate models is generated by applying a plurality of machine learning algorithms to the training data subset; evaluating, using the test data subset, each of the plurality of candidate models to select a chosen model; receiving production data that includes data representing input metrics for a business entity not included within the plurality of business entities; and generating a predicted output metric for the business entity.

  • Patent number: 11410176
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhanced detection of fraudulent electronic transactions are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system uses the ongoing stream of transactions to construct and maintain a dynamically evolving merchant relationship graph. When a proposed transaction is submitted to the system, the system computes a predicted likelihood that the given account would make a transaction with these characteristics with the given merchant. The graph is used to compute transitive relatedness between merchants which may be indirectly associated with one another, as well as to compute aggregate relatedness, when there are multiple avenues of relationship between two merchants.

  • Patent number: 11410174
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for verifying a transaction in a blockchain network may be provided. The blockchain network comprises nodes participating in performing the transaction. The method comprises grouping the nodes of the blockchain network into a plurality of clusters of nodes. For each cluster, the method comprises determining for each node of the cluster performance parameter values, calculating a weighted sum of the determined performance parameter values, designating the node with the highest weighted sum as cluster leader, designating a number of nodes of the cluster whose weighted sum is next to the highest weighted sum, as sub-cluster leader, the number being at least half of the total number of nodes within said cluster, and verifying the transaction for the cluster by the cluster leader and the sub-cluster leaders.

  • Patent number: 11410232
Abstract: Utilities that allow for the asynchronous tendering for variable characteristic assets. In one aspect, a utility for returning a strike price based on the iterative comparison of a received first listing object with a received first offer object, both corresponding to a first variable characteristic asset. At least one of the first listing object and the first offer object may include a time-dependent price such that the iterative comparison may facilitate the determination of a time-dependent price range corresponding to the variable characteristic asset at a given time. In this regard, the strike price may be returned at least partially based on the time-dependent price range. Additionally, the present disclosure includes embodiments related to the verification of a condition-dependent status of the first variable characteristic asset and a generation of comparison metrics associated with the asynchronous tendering.

  • Patent number: 11410243
Abstract: Systems and methods for segmenting claims data for actuarial modeling are disclosed. For example, traditional actuarial models determine the money paid out in a given month and estimate future months based at least in part on the money paid out, but these traditional models fail when dealing with volatile data for new markets and/or expanding member base. The presently-disclosed systems and methods segments data into incremental metrics and uses the segmented data to provide more granular information about the claims. Increasing granularity in data not only increases accuracy for predictions but the new actuarial model developed using segmented data may also be used as market analysis tools to predict favorable new markets to enter.
