Abstract: Browser systems and methods of loading/rendering a webpage include preprocessing the web document (HTML page) using speculation/prediction techniques to identify the resources that are likely to be required from an incomplete set of information, and requesting/pre-fetching the resources that are determined to have a high probability of being required for proper rending of the web document. The speculation/prediction techniques may include the use of heuristics to improve the efficiency and speed of document loads and network communications.

Abstract: A method is provided for performing page personalization at an edge server. In response to a page request from a user's browser, page mark-up is retrieved from a page server, the page mark-up including embedded edge server instructions. An edge server matching object is parsed from the embedded edge server instructions, the edge server matching object defining a plurality of content feature vectors which are respectively associated with a plurality of content modules. A user feature vector associated with the user is determined. The user feature vector is matched against the plurality of content feature vectors to determine a closest matching content feature vector to the user feature vector. A selected content module associated with the closest matching content feature vector is retrieved. The selected content module is combined with the page mark-up to define an edge-personalized page mark-up.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to label radiology images. An example system includes a processor and a database. In response to receiving a first user input via a data input, the processor is to generate first annotations on a spinal image. The processor is to cause the spinal image having the first annotations to be displayed at a user interface. The processor is to prompt a user to provide second user input identifying an error in the first annotations. In response to receiving the second user input, the processor is to generate second annotations on the spinal image. The second annotations is to correct the error in the first annotations.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for displaying tabular data. A computing device identifies a plurality of data elements organized in a first plurality of rows and a first plurality of columns, wherein the first plurality of rows and the first plurality of columns are at least partially displayed. The computing device receives a data selection spanning an entire row or an entire column included in the first plurality of rows or the first plurality of columns. The computing device, in response to receiving the data selection spanning an entire row or an entire column included in the first plurality of rows or the first plurality of columns, determines a statistical relationship included in the data selection. The computing device, in response to determining the statistical relationship, displays at least a portion of the data selection.

Abstract: During a co-browsing session between a host computer and an agent computer, a co-browsing window is displayed on a display screen of the host computer. To facilitate concurrent chat messaging, a web browser running on the host computer displays a first chat window at a first area of the display screen. A second chat window is generated based on the first chat window. The first chat window is removed from display at the first area of the display screen, and the second chat window is displayed at a second area of the display screen where the second chat window obstructs less of the co-browsing window than the first chat window did before the first chat window was removed from display at the first area of the display screen.

The method comprises: receiving at least one UI constraint and at least one first CSS rule defined by a developer of a widget as well as at least one second CSS rule customized by a user of the widget, the UI constraints being used to restrict the UI of the widget; running a page containing the widget; performing automatic validation on each UI constraint based on the result of running the page; and in response to deriving a UI constraint being violated from the validation, finding one or more of the second CSS rules that lead to violation of the UI constraint in a first set made up of the second CSS rules that override the first CSS rules.

The method includes requesting the web page from a server, receiving the web page including content configured by a plurality of blocks from the server, partitioning the web page into the plurality of pages by split inserting the plurality of blocks into a plurality of pages based on a screen size of a display screen and a display size of the content in the plurality of blocks being displayed on the display screen. Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for detecting documents within content received by a computing device. A computing device can receive content through an application. The received content is scanned to determine if it includes a file type indicating that it includes a redeemable document. A notification is presented to the user when a document has been detected within the content including a button enabling rendering of the document on the computing device. The rendered document can include a button to transmit the document to secondary computing devices associated with the user. A user profile associated with the user can include data indicating secondary computing devices associated with the user. The user profile can be accessed to retrieve the data and, if the button is selected, the document can be transmitted to the secondary computing devices from which the user can render the document.

Abstract: A processor-implemented method for displaying a digital edition is provided. The digital edition is readable by a dedicated software application running on a data processing device, such as an electronic tablet. The method allows opening the digital edition, such as a daily newspaper, even though the edition is not completely downloaded on the data processing device. The digital edition comprises a compiled file including a structure of the edition, and a list of minimal assets located on a remote storage and required to open the edition. A processing device configured to perform the method is also provided, as well as a backend system to generate the digital edition files.

Additionally, a user selection of a subset of the display area can be detected, wherein the subset of the display area is defined as a pegged area corresponding to a subset of the web page. Moreover, at least the subset of the web page may be prevented from being updated to the screen in response to the user selection while retrieval of the web page continues.

In one aspect, the present disclosure provides an optimization process executed by spreadsheet functions of a spreadsheet application, and arranged in a functional paradigm for computing optimal parameters for a parameterized system modelled by variables, parameters, and dependent formulas.
