  • Patent number: 9321197
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of a composite part with a multi-part outer layer and with a foam layer bonded on the reverse side to the outer layer, in particular internal cladding of a vehicle, and also to a composite part. The inventive process comprises the following steps: a) arrangement of a first skin and of a second skin with angled-off end regions on the surface of a mold in such a way that the angled-off end regions of the first and second skin have firstly been oriented away from the surface of the mold and secondly are adjacent to one another; b) application of a reduced pressure in the region of the position of the angled-off end regions, in such a way that the angled-off end regions are pressed two-dimensionally against one another; c) reverse-side foaming of the first and second skin with a foam composition. The inventive process permits the simple production of visually attractive composite parts with multi-part outer layer.

  • Patent number: 9296125
Abstract: Systems and methods for a concrete apparatus with incorporated lifter are provided. A concrete apparatus is formed by placing a reinforcement system in a mold. The reinforcement system comprises a lifter. Concrete is poured into the mold such that the lifter protrudes from the poured concrete. After the concrete has hardened and the mold is removed, the lifter is used to carry and position the concrete apparatus. After the concrete apparatus is positioned, the lifter is removed at the circumference of the concrete apparatus leaving no holes, thereby eliminating water leakage due to lifting methods.

  • Patent number: 9289928
Abstract: In a method for coating a molded part (1), in particular a molded part produced by injection molding, the molded part (1) is arranged in a cavity (2) of a molding tool (3), wherein a partial cavity (4) between the molded part (1) and a first molding-tool half (5) of the molding tool (3) remains when a closing force (F) is applied to the molding tool (3) at a first closing-force level. A coating mass (6) is introduced into the partial cavity (4) and the coating mass (6) is cured/cross-linked. The closing force (F) of the molding tool (3) is increased during the curing/cross-linking of the coating mass (6), wherein the increase in the closing force (F) causes a volume reduction of the partial cavity (4) due to elastic deformation of the molding tool (3) and/or elastic deformation of the molded part (1).

  • Patent number: 9272448
Abstract: A cellulosic resin film which is wide and, despite this, is extremely reduced in breakage during a stretching step; a process for producing the film; and an antireflection film, a polarizer, and a liquid-crystal display each comprising or employing the film. The process for cellulosic resin film production comprises casting a liquid cellulosic resin on a support to form a web, peeling the web from the support, subsequently drying the web in a first edge gripping step (105) while gripping both edges, temporarily eliminating the edge gripping, and then stretching both edges in the width direction in a second edge gripping step (109). The process is characterized in that the first edge gripping step is followed by a heat treatment step in which both edge parts of the web relieved from the edge gripping are heated with heating rolls (107 and 108).

  • Patent number: 9266261
Abstract: Flexible nanocrystalline cellulose films (NCC) include a polymer while retaining the property of tunable color. Polymers, for example PVOH and SB-latex, are effective in increasing the flexibility of the NCC films. The NCC film made with PVOH retains the iridescence better than that made with SB-latex; however, the NCC film made with SB-latex has a better tensile strength. In addition, the NCC film made with PVOH was found to disperse easily in water while the NCC film made with SB latex does not disperse in water (it is strongly water resistant). The color of NCC film made with PVOH and SB-latex can still be tuned with techniques that provide for tuning.
