  • Patent number: 11105948
Abstract: A method and system for detecting an anomaly in measurement data captured by a downhole tool is disclosed provided. In the method and system, measurement data comprising a plurality of measurement channels is obtained and reference data including healthy reference data and faulty reference data is also obtained. The measurement data is preprocessed by modeling at least one measurement channel of the plurality of measurement channels using modeling parameters to produce pre-processed measurement data. Further, a first distance between the pre-processed measurement data and the healthy reference data is obtained and determined to exceed a first threshold for the first distance. A report is generated in response to determining that the first distance exceeds the first threshold. The report indicates detection of the anomaly in the measurement data.

Abstract: A component testing plan considers both distinguishable components and undistinguishable components for each of the distinguishable components. In addition to distinguishable and undistinguishable components, inputs to the system include a level of customer demand, using component-based demand forecasting, and what test types are to be performed. The system then determines a set of combinatorial test options for each of the test types and a cycle time for each combinatorial test option. The system then cognitively develops a component testing plan including a listing of combinatorial test(s) of the set of combinatorial test options for each test type to be performed and how many times to perform each combinatorial test(s) on a testing machine with a known capacity in order to minimize a total cycle time for all of the test types and a number of the testing machine needed; and implementing the component testing plan on a set of test components on a production line.

  • Patent number: 11068563
Abstract: Long-term photovoltaic system degradation can be predicted through a simple, low-cost solution. The approach requires the configuration specification for a photovoltaic system, as well as measured photovoltaic production data and solar irradiance, such as measured by a reliable third party source using satellite imagery. Note the configuration specification can be derived. This information is used to simulate photovoltaic power production by the photovoltaic system, which is then evaluated against the measured photovoltaic production data. The simulated production is adjusted to infer degradation that can be projected over time to forecast long-term photovoltaic system degradation.

  • Patent number: 10942287
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented in this disclosure for semblance-based anisotropy parameter estimation using isotropic depth-migrated common image gathers. Far-offset image gathers can be generated from seismic data associated with a subterranean formation migrated based on an isotropic depth migration that uses an isotropic velocity model. Based on the far-offset image gathers, a plurality of semblance values can be calculated as a function of an anisotropy parameter of the subterranean formation for the different depths and the surface locations. Effective values of the anisotropy parameter of the subterranean formation can be then chosen that result in maxima of the plurality of semblance values for the different depths and the surface locations. Anisotropy model of the subterranean formation can be obtained based on the effective values of the anisotropy parameter.

  • Patent number: 10935966
Abstract: A product inspection device and method for correctly calculating consumer and producer risks irrespective of the type of distribution of products. A characteristic value representing a predetermined product characteristic is measured for each product as a product measurement value, and a standard deviation of measurement variations in measurement results is calculated as a measurement value standard deviation. The products are determined to be conforming based on whether the measured product measurement value falls within a range of a product standard. Consumer and producer risks are calculated based on the measurement variations. The calculated consumer and producer risks are respectively and successively added up and it is determined whether the number of products having undergone the adding have reached a predetermined number. If so, the added up consumer risk and producer risk are divided by the number of products to calculate a final consumer risk and a final producer risk.
