Abstract: A portable beverage container holder having a tubular upper member having inner and outer walls concentric to each other. The tubular member has a top and bottom portion, the bottom portion having a diameter greater than the top portion forming a tapered tubular member. The top portion diameter is of sufficient size to receive a beverage container and preferably includes an insulated separate liner. The holder has a lower base having a top and bottom surface, preferably with a weight inside and surrounding sidewall. The bottom portion of the tubular member is mounted to the top surface of the base. The sidewall protrudes above the top surface of the base to form a circumferential channel surrounding the lower base to capture any spillage from the container. The bottom surface of the base element has mounted thereto a means for preventing the holder from sliding on a surface.

Abstract: A container assembly includes a container body having a side wall encircling an axis, and a metal end for attachment to an upper edge of the side wall via heat-sealing. The outer peripheral region is shaped prior to application to the container body such that an annular channel is defined between an inner chuck wall and an outer chuck wall of the metal end. The metal end is pushed straight onto the side wall such that the upper edge of the side wall is received into the channel. The surfaces of the side wall and the opposing surfaces of the chuck walls have heat-sealable material thereon. The metal end is heated to melt and fuse the heat-sealable layers, thereby sealing the metal end onto the side wall. The metal end is shaped such that the free edge of the outer chuck wall is not exposed.

Abstract: An insulated container that includes a body and a lid assembly is described. The lid assembly may include a two-piece lid (e.g., two lids) connected with at least one linkage. The two lids may be operable to open in concert in response to a user asserting a single force applied on one of the lids. For example, the lid assembly may be configured such that the assertion of an opening force on one of the lids is transferred via the linkage to the other lid so that both lids open at a similar rate.

Abstract: An adjustable beverage insulator device, including: a side wall forming a substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure defining a slot along one side of the substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure, wherein the slot traverses the length of the substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure from a top portion to a bottom portion thereof; wherein a bottom portion of the substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure optionally includes one of a spring clamp and a constriction mechanism operable for biasing the substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure into a constricted configuration. The side wall includes one of a substantially rigid material and a substantially flexible material, and optionally an insulation material disposed one of on and adjacent to an interior or exterior surface thereof. Optionally, the slot is sized to accommodate the handle of a vessel selectively disposed within the substantially cylindrical vessel holding structure.
Abstract: Disclosed is a container made of plastics material, which is provided with a body and a bottom (6) that extends from a lower end of the body, the bottom (6) including: a peripheral base (7) that defines a setting-down plane (8); a concave vault (10) which extends from a central area (11), forming a peg that projects towards the inside of the container, to the base (7); a set of main reinforcing grooves (13) which extend radially from the central area (11) as far at least as the base (7), wherein, in the container, the vault (10) has a central region (15), a median region (16) and a peripheral region (17) that are each separated by an internal axial indentation (18) and an external axial indentation (19) which extend annularly in a continuous manner around the central area (11).
Abstract: A double walled glass container comprising an inner glass vessel for containing a liquid beverage is nested and hermetically sealed to an outer glass vessel, forming a unitary assembly with a co-extensive planar surface between inner and outer vessels. Said inner vessel is so constructed as to provide a gap between the two vessels wherein the interstitial space is an insulating air gap providing an insulating effect between the inner and outer vessels. The inner vessel also extends above the hermetic seal creating a single wall drinking rim. In addition, a customizable brand name or logo can be applied to the outer face of the inner vessel such that it is protected from the harsh environment of chemical cleaning and everyday use.
Abstract: The container (1) includes a body (2), a kinkable/unkinkable flexible sleeve (3) and an apertured maneuvering member (4) for maneuvering the sleeve (3). According to the invention: the body (2) and the member (4) have a globally square or rectangular shape in cross-section, giving the container (1) the appearance of a box; the member (4) is axially movable relative to the body (2), between a position in which it is freed from the wall of the body (2) and can therefore be pivoted relative to the latter, and a position in which it is engaged with the body (2); and the wall of the body (2) outwardly includes at least one part (5) made from a material having a high friction coefficient, and/or the apertured maneuvering member (4) includes, on its inner face, at least one part made from a material having a high friction coefficient.
