Abstract: The headlight, especially for a motor vehicle, includes at least two separately adjustable reflectors and a reflector height adjusting mechanism for adjusting the reflector heights separately or synchronously. The reflectors include a first reflector for high beam light and/or fog light and a second reflector associated with a low beam light module. The reflector height adjusting device includes separate adjusting devices for individually adjusting the respective heights for the at least two separately adjustable reflectors and a coupling member for the separate adjusting devices. When the separate adjusting devices are put in a coupled state by the coupling member the heights of the at least two reflectors are synchronously adjusted by operation of only one of the separate adjusting devices. The method for adjusting light radiated from the headlight includes performing a pre-adjustment in which each of the reflectors is separately adjusted by the separate adjusting devices.

Abstract: A flashlight comprises a barrel, a lamp shield assembly, and a lamp seat assembly. The lamp seat assembly includes a lamp seat, a movable seat, and a lamp mounted on the movable seat. The position of the movable seat in the lamp seat can be adjusted to locate the filament of the lamp in the focus of the reflective member of the lamp shield assembly so that the light beams emitted from the lamp can travel a long distance.
Abstract: A light beam shutter apparatus for a lighting instrument includes several individual shutter mechanisms arranged radially around the axis of a light beam. Each shutter mechanism includes a generally circular shutter blade having a circumference, but with a cut-out or void area such that a portion of the circumference is eliminated. The shutter blade preferably includes at least one straight edge at the boundary of the cut-out or void area, which straight edge passes through the center around which the shutter blade rotates, and is used for intercepting at least a portion of a light beam passing through the light beam shutter apparatus. The shutter blade may alternatively include other edge shapes at the boundary of the cut-out or void area, as desired. Driven surfaces, such as gear teeth or the like, are formed in opposed portions of the remaining circumference.
Abstract: An operating-room lighting device with an inner lighting unit that includes at least one discharge lamp and an inner reflector in a housing. The lighting unit is at least partially enclosed by an outer annular housing with an annularly or polygonally designed reflector for convergent deviation of light emitted by the lighting unit into an illumination field. The outer reflector includes, on its side facing the inner lighting unit, a closed transparent surface whose back adjoins a reflective layer. The reflective layer is applied to the back of the transparent surface. The inner lighting unit and the outer reflector are held together by a connecting member, which is articulated to a curved intermediate piece for attachment to a stationary support.
