  • Patent number: 11319728
Abstract: An automated sash lock for locking a window sash comprises a linearly depressible trigger, a cam-style locking element normally biased towards a locked position, a rotatable detent actuated by the trigger, a pivotable transfer element between the detent and the locking element, and an actuator for manually operating the lock mechanism to unlock the lock when the window is in a closed and locked position. The detent is normally biased in the direction of the locking element and a portion of the detent engages a body portion of the locking element to maintain the locking element in a retracted position when the window is open. Upon actuation of the trigger by a closing window, the trigger translates linearly into the lock housing and rotates the detent into the disengaged position, pulling the detent away from the locking element and allowing the locking element to fire out of the lock housing and into an opening in a strike in the adjacent sash to prevent the sashes from relative sliding movement.

  • Patent number: 11306510
Abstract: Cylinder assembly with rotating winged latch bolt for sliding door lockset includes a special latch bolt that holds in an extended position and holds in a retracted position which alternates back and forth by pressing the latch bolt with your finger. The special latch bolt rotates ninety degrees by turning the doorknob, door handle, thumb turn, or coin turn and rotates back ninety degrees by turning the doorknob, door handle, thumb turn, or coin turn back. The special latch bolt has a special winged shape that catches within the strike plate when rotated ninety degrees and releases from the strike plate when rotated ninety degrees back. Also there is a special face plate or cylinder face plate with tabs or notches that serve as a two-position mechanical stop to prevent the latch bolt from over rotating beyond ninety degrees in either direction.

  • Patent number: 11286688
Abstract: The present application relates to a handle arrangement (1) for a door (10), comprising a handle (2) and a locking clamp (3) for engaging a locking element on a door frame (70). The locking clamp is arranged to rotate around a first axis (A) from a locking to an intermediate position and to move linearly along a second axis (B) from the intermediate to an open position, when the handle is moved between a closed, intermediate, and open state. The arrangement comprises a resilient means (8) arranged to keep the locking clamp from moving from the intermediate position towards the open position until a force applied in the direction of the linear movement of the locking clamp towards the open position exceeds a resilient force of the resilient means. With this arrangement, a handle arrangement which may be opened in several steps is provided such that the opening of a door may be performed in a controlled manner.
