The flange comprising a second member. The second member having a variable front to back width that is greater at the heel and toe than the center.

Abstract: A ball structure includes a light-permeable ball, a lighting module and a waterproof cap. The light-permeable ball is disposed with an opening. The lighting module includes a light-permeable sleeve disposed in the light-permeable ball, and a circuit board set. An end of the light-permeable sleeve has an open end corresponding to the opening. The circuit board set includes a circuit board received in the light-permeable sleeve, and a lighting element, a vibration switch, an electricity storage element and a charge connector all electrically installed on the circuit board. The charge connector is exposed from the opening. The waterproof cap plugs and seals the opening and the open end. Therefore, the ball structure has functions of lighting and charging.

Abstract: A sports ball for use in baseball-type games includes a hollow, substantially spherical plastic ball that has a plurality of substantially planar, intersecting regions covering an outer surface thereof. Preferably the ball also has a weight that is substantially less than a weight of a regulation baseball, for enhancing safety in use. The sports system further includes a bat for use with the ball, or with any similar ball, preferably a plastic ball. The bat is a hollow, elongated member that has a handle portion adjacent a bottom end and a barrel portion between the handle portion and a top end. The bat further has a sheath surrounding at least a portion of the barrel portion. The sheath has a coefficient of friction higher than a coefficient of friction of a surface of the barrel portion, for imparting “traction” to a struck ball.

Abstract: A sports ball, for example a soccer ball, comprising a hollow shell and a pit suspended within the hollow shell by a plurality of cords. In some embodiments, the plurality of cords may comprise a first end coupled to the hollow shell at a first location, a second end coupled to the hollow shell at a second location, and a center portion coupled to the pit. In some embodiments, the pit may be suspended within the hollow shell by a plurality of cords, with each of the plurality of cords comprising a frayed end secured to the hollow shell at one of a plurality of spaced apart locations.

Abstract: A golf tee may include a shaft and a head coupled to the shaft. The head may include a base, a rear portion that extends upwardly from a rear of the base, and opposing sides portions that extend upwardly from opposing sides of the base to thereby form a hollow interior above the base and between the side portions. The rear portion may include a raised support that extends upwardly from a top of the rear portion and forms a rear support point for supporting a golf ball on the head of the golf tee. A top of each side portion may form a rail having an upper surface. The upper surface at a rear of each rail may be positioned below the raised support. The upper surface may be angled upwardly towards a front of the rail to form a front support point at the front of each rail.

Abstract: A puzzle comprising a set of puzzle pieces and a puzzle assembly surface having a puzzle assembly image printed thereon, the image includes blank areas corresponding to sections of a source image and background puzzle image corresponding to complementary sections of the source image. Each of the puzzles has an image printed on it that corresponds to a particular region of the source image. Shape and size of the puzzle pieces and the images printed on them are such that, when each puzzle piece is placed on the puzzle assembly surface in a particular position with a particular orientation covering a particular blank areas and a portion of the background puzzle image directly surrounding the blank area, a region of the background puzzle image that remains uncovered by the puzzle piece is complementary to the image printed thereon.

Abstract: A divot repair tool assembly for removing divots from a golf course green includes a planar body with a pair of holes extending through the planar body. Golf tees are insertable through the holes, and the planar body may be wrapped around the heads of the golf tees to secure the golf tees to the planar body and prevent movement of the golf tees with respect to each other and the planar body. The assembly may then be used to remove divots in a golf course green.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is the 3-D puzzle implemented as a cube consisting of eight movable sectors configured to move about a central cross-piece created by three axels that are perpendicular to each other. Each movable sector includes three movable elements positioned orthogonally to each other. Each movable element has an outer edge surface attached to a holder. The holders of the three movable elements form a central cross inside the movable sector. The central cross allows the three movable elements to assume positions where the movable element is extracted or retracted relative to the hosting movable sector. Each holder of the movable element has a magnet positioned inside. The central piece of the 3-D cubical puzzle is formed by a central cross made of three orthogonal axes with flat ends configured to fix the movable elements in a static position and to move from one static position into another.

Abstract: An apparatus for permitting electrical connection between the exterior of an inflatable sports ball and electronics located inside the inflatable sports ball is provided. The apparatus comprises a support member, the support member having separate first and second through-holes provided therein for respectively connecting the exterior of the inflatable sports ball with the interior of the inflatable sports ball. An electrical connection port is located in the first through-hole of the support member for permitting an electrical connection to be made through the first through-hole. An air valve is located in the second through-hole of the support member, the air valve comprising an aperture for selective communication of air.

Abstract: A multi-purpose golf tool includes a golf tee platform arranged on a golf tool body, the golf tee platform configured to receive a golf ball balanced thereon, a first prong extending from the golf tool body opposite the golf tee platform, a second prong extending from the golf tool body opposite the golf tee platform, a curved depression extending perpendicular to the length and formed by the golf tool body and a portion of the first prong and second prong, and a first rounded gap between the first prong and the second prong. The first prong has a first ridge extending perpendicular to the length and abutting the curved depression. The second prong has a second ridge extending perpendicular to the length and abutting the curved depression.

The tee shaft has a shaft top portion, a shaft bottom portion, and a shaft body. The shaft body is connected between the shaft bottom portion and the shaft top portion. The shaft top portion is configured to hold a golf ball thereon. The shaft bottom portion is removably connected in the connecting hole of the tee base in a perpendicular orientation to the tee base. When the base bottom portion of the tee base is positioned on a surface, and the shaft bottom portion is connected in the connecting hole of the base top portion, the tee base orients the tee shaft in the perpendicular orientation to the surface.

Abstract: The jigsaw puzzle and craft support and storage device comprises a sorting tray, a craft table, a telescoping arm, an optional magnifier, and a cover. The jigsaw puzzle and craft support and storage device may be a tool for storing and assembling a jigsaw craft. The sorting tray may be operable to store a plurality of craft pieces. The plurality of craft pieces may be sorted into a plurality of sorting compartments within the sorting tray. The craft table may be a platform upon which the jigsaw craft may be assembled. The craft table may be elevated above the sorting tray by the telescoping arm during use. The craft table may be adapted to tilt and swivel for the viewing comfort of a user. Abstract: A device for inserting a golf tee in the ground at a determined height has a housing with a tubular interior shaft, and having two opposed side slots. Locking strips with parallel teeth on opposites sides of slots are fixed within the housing. A pusher assembly has flexible pivot arms with locking teeth which face outwardly towards the locking strip teeth such that in an undeflected configuration, the pivot arm teeth engage with the locking strip to fix the pusher assembly at a selected height. Release buttons on the arms are engaged through the locking strip and housing slots for adjusting the height of the pusher. The housing has a base with a downwardly facing opening through which a golf tee is inserted to engage the pusher assembly. With the pusher assembly set at a calibrated height, the tee is insertable by urging the entire assembly against the ground.

Abstract: A method of customizing a golf club, wherein the method includes generating operating data representative of a user operating a mechanical device. The operating data is generated by a first sensor sized and configured to be removably positioned in a mounting port formed on the mechanical device during operation of the mechanical device. The sensor is interchangeably positionable in the mounting port with at least one mass insert, the at least one mass insert being adapted to be interchangeably positioned in the mounting to provide at least two different mass configurations. The method further includes determining a recommended configuration of the at least one mass insert specific to the user based on the operating data generated by the sensor, and transmitting information representative of the recommended mass insert.

Abstract: A hollow non-wood baseball or softball bat wherein the impact portion of the bat contains an inner multi-walled barrel that is positioned by means of a (i) foam insert, (ii) tube extending from the bat's knob, or (iii) line attached to the bat's knob and end cap and extending throughout the bat such that the inner barrel does not come into contact with the inside wall of the bat when the bat is at rest yet when swung the inner barrel is allowed to move so as to amplify the rebound effect given to the ball upon impact with the bat.

Abstract: A novel golf tee is adapted as an aiming device. The golf tee includes a shaft having a tapered end for insertion into a playing surface. The golf tee includes a platform coupled with an end of the shaft opposite of the tapered end. The platform has a top surface that is concave in shape and configured to hold a golf ball and a groove passing through the platform perpendicular to the axis of the shaft. The groove extends in the direction of the axis of the shaft through the top surface of the platform, bisecting the top surface to form first and second opposing sides of the platform. The groove includes a bore section. The bore section of the groove is larger in diameter than a width of the groove measured from the first to the second opposing sides of the platform.

Abstract: A golf tee 10 comprising an upper section 11 configured to receive a ball and a lower section 12 configured to engage the ground. The upper and lower sections 11, 12 are movably and/or releasably engagable with respect to each other such that, in use, the upper section 11 moves and/or becomes detached from the lower section 12 should a golf club contact the upper portion 11 and/or should a ball positioned on the upper section 11 be struck by a golf club.
