Abstract: A vehicle includes a vehicle body, a tailgate, a ladder and a counterweight. The tailgate is movably attached to the vehicle body. The ladder is attached to the tailgate at a first lateral side of the tailgate. The counterweight provided to the tailgate at a second lateral side of the tailgate. The second lateral side is opposite of the first lateral side to provide a counterbalance to a weight of the ladder.
Abstract: A ladder may include a first pair of spaced apart members, a second pair of spaced apart members and a first pair of hinges coupling the first pair of spaced apart members with the second pair of spaced apart members. In some embodiments, each hinge may include a first hinge component including at least a first hinge plate, the first hinge plate having a notch formed therein, the notch including a first abutment wall and a second abutment wall, a second hinge component including at least a second hinge plate, and a lock mechanism having a pivot pin and a lock pin. The lock mechanism is configured for selective engagement with the notch such that the pivot pin engages the first abutment wall and the lock pin engages the second abutment wall to lock the first hinge component relative to the second hinge component in a first hinge position.

Abstract: A stabilizer apparatus has a mounting frame that mounts onto a ladder so as to be longitudinally slidable along the rails of the ladder. Stabilizer legs are pivotally supported on the mounting frame between a stored position in which the legs are supported alongside the mounting frame and a working position protruding outwardly from the mounting frame. A screw clamp type retaining mechanism selectively prevents longitudinal displacement of the mounting frame relative to the ladder for stabilising the ladder while in the working position of the legs.
Abstract: A foldable rail assembly is coupled to a platform and includes vertical rails and a rectangular rail structure that is hingedly coupled to the vertical rails. The rectangular rail structure is rotatable about hinged couplings formed between the rectangular rail structure and the vertical rails, and movable between a first, deployed position and a second, folded position. The rectangular rail structure extends upwardly from the platform higher in the first position than in the second position.
