  • Patent number: 4094408
Abstract: The improved pill container has an external shape simulating a fountain pen and includes the usual clip for securing the container within a pocket of a user. Construction-wise, the container includes a center section and two end sections. Each of the end sections is hollow and adapted to contain pills or medication of a certain type, and each end section has an open end which fits telescopically over a portion of the center section so that the end section is rotatably mounted. Cooperating projection and recess means are provided to yieldably retain each end section to the center section and to provide for step-by-step rotation of the end section. Indicating means are provided to visually indicate the rotated position of each end section. The center section blocks flow of pills from one end section to the other.

  • Patent number: 4091925
Abstract: A preferably plastic film flower sleeve has side edge heat sealed front and back panels tapering inwardly in downward extension providing upper and lower open ends. Each panel has a centralized nonperforated area which increases progressively in transverse width during its downward progression bordered by transversely opposite perforated groups decreasing correspondingly in transverse width during downward progression, the perforated groups also being defined by nonperforated upper and lower end portions. A flower sleeve may be rearwardly rack suspended and forwardly hand suspended during insertion of a flower bunch downwardly therein, the flower bunch stems being maintained forwardly aligned with the progressively increasing nonperforated areas to avoid snagging and the stems ultimately projecting from the sleeve lower end while the increased size flowers of the bunch automatically transversely expand the sleeve perforated groups.

  • Patent number: 4071139
Abstract: A packaged T-shirt assembly is disclosed. A T-shirt with a design disposed on its front portion is placed against a glass top panel of a rectangular positioning box which has a fluorescent light therein. The rays of fluorescent light shine through the top panel and through the front and back portions of the shirt to isolate the design. The shirt is then moved so that the design is centered within the outer periphery of the top panel. A flat stiffener, such as a record album assembly or piece of packaging cardboard, is then placed over the back portion of the shirt. The side sections of the shirt are then folded around the edges of the stiffener and, thereafter, the bottom and top sections of the shirt are folded over or atop the side sections. Tape strips are used to secure the side sections to the back surface of the stiffener and the top and bottom sections together. A wrapper of transparent material is then disposed around the assembly to enclose the shirt and stiffener.

  • Patent number: 4069915
Abstract: A case is disclosed for a tool that includes an elongated shaft and a fitting attached to and extending perpendicularly from the shaft at a location spaced from a free shaft end. The case comprises a body which is formed with a tool shaft accepting recess, a first socket extending axially from the recess for receiving the free end of the shaft and a second socket extending perpendicularly to the recess for receiving the tool fitting. Axial movement of the tool is prevented when the free end of the shaft and the fitting are respectively received in the first and second sockets. Moreover, the tool can only be removed from the case by first disengaging the fitting from the second socket and then disengaging the free end of the shaft from the first socket.
