  • Patent number: 11324004
Abstract: A wireless device receives configuration parameters indicating data bearers each identified by a data bearer identifier. The data bearers comprise: first data bearer(s) configured with duplication; and second data bearer(s) that are not configured with duplication. A received control element comprises duplication activation bits comprising an activation bit for a first data bearer of the first data bearer(s). A first position of the activation bit in the control element identifies a second position of a first data bearer identifier in an ordered list of data bearer identifiers of the first data bearer(s) configured with the duplication. The ordered list of data bearer identifiers excludes the second data bearer(s). In response to the duplication being activated for the first data bearer: a first packet via a first cell; and a duplicate of the first packet is transmitted via a second cell different from the first cell.

  • Patent number: 11316714
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for bridging communications between a private network and a public network. A mapping that associates a first set of IP addresses of endpoints in the private network with a second set of IP addresses of endpoints in the public network is provided which enables communications between the private network and public network for network-address-translation (NAT). In response to a data packet having a first IP address of the first set of IP addresses, the data packet is used to determine whether the local line should be accessed. In response to an indication that the local line should be accessed, the identifier among the second set of IP addresses may be used to activate bridging (e.g., ATB) circuit and redirect a call associated with the data packet by passing the data packet through the ATB circuit.

  • Patent number: 11290368
Abstract: Federated messaging for quantum systems through teleportation is disclosed. In one example, a first routing service of a first quantum computing device receives a routing request comprising a payload qubit and an identifier of a destination service of a second quantum computing device. The first routing service identifies a routing entry of a routing table corresponding to the destination service. A first teleporting service of the first quantum computing device is identified based on the routing entry, the first teleporting service being associated with a first qubit entangled with a second qubit of a second teleporting service of the second quantum computing device. The first routing service routes the routing request to the first teleporting service, which generates quantum state data for the payload qubit using the payload qubit and the first qubit. The quantum state data is then sent to the second teleporting service via a communications network.

  • Patent number: 11284414
Abstract: Some wireless communications systems may support different types of communications between base stations and user equipment (UEs), such as mobile broadband (MBB) communications and low latency communications. Low latency communications may be associated with bursty and unpredictable transmissions. As described herein, to facilitate low latency communications and limit the latency associated with waiting on appropriate resources for transmitting low latency data, a base station may schedule downlink low latency transmissions on uplink resources or uplink low latency transmissions on downlink resources. Further, to limit the latency associated with scheduling low latency communications, a base station may be configured with a carrier for transmitting preemption indications (PIs) to one or more UEs to reassign resources for low latency communications. Similarly, in some cases, a UE may be configured with a carrier to transmit scheduling requests (SRs) to request resources for low latency communications.

  • Patent number: 11240747
Abstract: A user terminal, method and apparatus receives first redistribution parameters from a first cell as a serving cell of the user equipment, performs an inter-frequency redistribution procedure in which a target cell is selected from a plurality of cells operated at different frequencies based on the first redistribution parameters, starts a predetermined timer, determines the target cell as a serving cell of the user equipment, and receives from the target cell as the serving cell, system information including second redistribution parameters. The inter-frequency redistribution procedure is performed when the predetermined timer expires and the system information received from the serving cell does not include a specific information element. The specific information element indicates that the user equipment shall only wait for a paging message to trigger the inter-frequency redistribution procedure transmitted from the serving cell.

  • Patent number: 11212803
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for synchronizing the switching of different wireless platforms to different portions of a frequency band. An embodiment, at a first wireless platform, operates by receiving a band switch request message from a second wireless platform, wherein the band switch request message comprises a band switch delay period for the second wireless platform. The embodiment calculates a band switch time based on a band switch delay period for the first wireless platform and the band switch delay period for the second wireless platform. The embodiment transmits a band switch accept message comprising the band switch time to the second wireless platform. The embodiment sets a first filter to operate on a second portion of the frequency band based on the band switch time. The embodiment then operates on the second portion of the frequency band.

  • Patent number: 11202260
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and computer-readable media are described to encode, by a first station, duty cycle timing for transmission to a second station via a primary connectivity radio. A wake-up radio (WUR) receiver (WURx) is enabled to receive a transmission based upon the duty cycle timing of the WURx when the primary connectivity radio is in a doze state from a perspective of the second station. A wake-up packet, received from the second station, is decoded and received by the WURx. The WURx receives a WURx transmission when in an WURx awake state. The primary connectivity radio is enabled based upon decoding the wake-up packet.

  • Patent number: 11184114
Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems include duplicating a packet within a plurality of packets to be transmitted to a destination computing node as a sequence of packets. The plurality of packets including the duplicate of the packet are transmitted to the destination computing node. Upon receiving a first acknowledgement of the packet from the destination computing node, it is determined that the first acknowledgment is directed to a duplicated packet. In response to determining that the first acknowledgment is directed to a duplicated packet, it is determined that a second acknowledgement has yet to be received for each of one or more packets within the plurality of packets transmitted prior to the packet. In response to determining that the second acknowledgement has yet to be received, the one or more packets are retransmitted to the destination computing node.

  • Patent number: 11178671
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station in a wireless communications system may perform a connection procedure (e.g. radio resource control (RRC) procedure) with a user equipment (UE), during which the base station may configure the UE with logical channel prioritization (LCP) configuration for each logical channel of a set of logical channels. The LCP configuration may indicate allowable modulation coding schemes (MCSs) for each logical channel of the set of logical channels. Following the communication procedure, the UE may receive an uplink grant for transmitting data using a corresponding logical channel of the set of logical channels. The UE may identify an MCS used by the uplink grant and may transmit the data using the corresponding logical channel with the identified MCS, based on the identified MCS of the uplink grant matching an MCS of the logical channel.
