  • Patent number: 9631805
Abstract: An inflatable display with dynamic lighting effect has an inflatable body, an air pump inflating the inflatable body, and a lighting assembly mounted inside the inflatable body for providing dynamic lighting variations. The lighting assembly has a light housing, a power supply, a lighting module, and a refracting module mounted in the light housing. The lighting module and the refracting module rotate relative to each other. As light beams emitted from the lighting module pass through the refracting module, the light beams are mixed and refracted. With relative rotation of the lighting module and the refracting module, the light beams can project outwards to further penetrate through the inflatable body at different angles covering a large area to form the dynamic lighting variations and to exhibit the dynamic lighting effect.

  • Patent number: 9562676
Abstract: Techniques and user interfaces are disclosed for controlling lighting fixtures having spatial distribution control capabilities. In some cases, the control techniques may use a high-level controller to define target and spread inputs for a desired illumination pattern provided by a lighting fixture in a given area to be lit. In such cases, the target and spread inputs may be transmitted, or otherwise provided, to a control module, which may be included in the lighting fixture. The control module may be configured to translate the inputs into the appropriate movements and/or light source adjustments based on the specific lighting fixture being used to achieve the desired illumination pattern. In some cases, multiple lighting fixtures may be controlled by one or more control modules. In such cases, the high-level controller may be configured to provide inputs to the control module(s) to cause one or more illumination patterns using the lighting fixtures.

  • Patent number: 9541272
Abstract: An explosion-proof LED module has at least one light-emitting diode, a heat sink connected to this and an LED cover that covers the LED at least in the emission direction. The LED cover extends into an insertion recess of the heat sink. In this insertion recess, the LED cover is surrounded by a casting compound resulting in sealing of the LED relative to an outer and possibly explosive atmosphere. As a result, an explosion-proof LED module can be provided whereby the manufacture of said explosion-proof LED module is relatively simple and possible in an economic manner in a short time from prefabricated parts. At the same time, the explosion-proof module is furthermore characterized in that sufficient cooling corresponding to the ignition protection type “intrinsic safety” and an embedding of the component according to ignition protection type “encapsulation” are given.

  • Patent number: 9534739
Abstract: A multiple-ply solid state light fixture is disclosed. A panelized, solid state light fixture includes combined layers of material chemically bonded together without a traditional mechanical housing and with relatively few or no fasteners. In example embodiments, the solid state light fixture includes an LED mounting substrate, a thermal material on a non-LED side of the LED mounting substrate, and an optical material on the LED side of the LED mounting substrate. A plurality of LEDs are disposed or mounted, with or without additional packaging, on the LED side of the LED mounting substrate. A chemical bond is created between the substrate and the other layers. This chemical bond can be created, for example, through use of applied fluid or gelatinous compounds that are then solidified, or through the use of adhesives.

  • Patent number: 9521777
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cooling system (1) for electronic components (4). The cooling system (1) comprises means (7) for producing cyclic air pressure fluctuations, wherein the electronic components (4) are distanced from the pressure producing means (7). In the vicinity of the electronic components (4) are situated means (5), preferably restrictions like holes, which are affected by the cyclic air pressure fluctuations, and which produce cyclic air jets (6). The air jets (6) affect the surface of the electronic component (4), and since the air jets (6) originate directly in the vicinity of the electronic components (4), an efficient heat transfer is affected. Preferably, the pressure producing means (7) actuate a pressure Pc inside a chamber (2), and turbulent air jets (6) are produced through holes (5) of a substrate (3), onto which electronic components (4) are mounted.
