  • Patent number: 12268909
Abstract: A set of designs for an electrically heated respirator/face mask to kill or deactivate airborne viruses and bacteria by creating a seamless thermal and/or humidity chamber/barrier around the wearer's nose and mouth area; in addition to efficiently filtering the tiny particles according to NIOSH N95 standards, it reduces the chance of contracting the disease. The designs include various combinations: a disposable or reusable N95 respirator with or without an exhalation valve, disposable or reusable medical face mask, both with or without integrated and replaceable filter layers, and a reusable respirator with filter cartridges. Each design comprises multiple layers with an active thermal filter with a heating element, which is made of graphene. The respirator is connected via a USB cable to a power unit. A control module is used to turn the device on and off and optionally control the inner temperature and humidity through sensors.

  • Patent number: 12263359
Abstract: This invention offers a fully protective cowl neck garment with various fasteners designed to attach additional protective gear, such as gloves and shoe coverings. Additionally, a temperature sensor shield is located on the hat and protective mask. This allows the clients or patients the ability to see and to monitor the temperature of their caregivers. The caregiver's temperature is visible on the hat, as well as the face mask. This makes the caregivers accountable to their clients or patients, as well as their colleagues and coworkers. This invention eliminates the worry of contact with infectious diseases or dangerous liquids, by utilizing elastic manual ties and hook-and-loop fasteners to ensure the garment is secured fully on a user's body. Overall, this invention ensures medical professionals, firemen, emergency medical personnel, government workers, and so forth, are protected fully from contagious and infectious diseases, liquids, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 12263364
Abstract: A unique filtering face-piece respirator or mask that is constructed of filtration media capable of sub-micron particle absorption or filtration. Utilizing existing and broadly available low cost media, the mask is patterned from a single sheet of material. It is constructed in a manner that creates an adequate seal as it fits snugly to the user's face, creates structure to ensure a low volume air gap, and deploys unique vertical pleats to increase surface area in order to decrease pressure drop across the mask. Specifically, the design enables the user to inhale and exhale with a pressure drop below 0.4 inches of water at elevated breathing rates of up to 110 liters per hour. Valve design and positioning enable more than 90% of used air to be exited the mask.
