Abstract: A spherical manual and electromechanically-operated spherical massage implement which facilitates the even application of pressure to the body tissue of a client during massage therapy, including tendons, ligaments, and muscles (e.g. the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and the like). Variations of the invention include vibrating and heating functions, relieve sore and achy muscles, help blood circulation, relieve muscle cramps, loosen tight and knotted muscles, and relieve pressure from the massage therapist's hands.
Abstract: An asymmetrical menstrual device with functional pressure points that aid in the insertion, opening, and removal of the device and requires minimal contact with the device itself, as well as with the body while placing inside the vaginal canal. Major design elements support ease of placement and effective opening of the device to create a seal, while minimizing pressure in sensitive areas. Another design feature is the length, functionality, and malleability of the removal stem that can be adapted to any length up until the base of the device. These elements enable greater cleanliness, comfort, and overall ease of use.

Abstract: The present soft tissue mobilization device has a quick-release bar clamp and various attachments for its jaws that exert pressure on soft tissue to improve mobility. The bar clamp allows for applying sustained and incremental pressure at various angles. The shape of the attachment surfaces that contact the soft tissue are either complementary toward each other, when they are intended to squeeze the targeted soft tissue between them, or to the body structure against which they are intended to press. Combining a more helpful means of generating and exerting pressure with the right surface contours significantly improves the overall effectiveness of the device, diminishes any associated pain and discomfort, and reduces the time necessary to achieve results.
Abstract: A medication injection device comprising a medication container to contain medication; a connector provided with a blocking feature; a push rod having a plurality of teeth disposed along the length, and a spring biasing against the push rod to move proximally. The spring can be compression spring, extension spring, torsion spring, or constant force spring. By enabling or disabling engagement between the blocking feature on the connector and the tooth on the push rod, the push rod is either prevented from moving distally or allowed to move distally. The medication is drawn into the medication container when the push rod moves proximally and the medication is dispensed out of the medication container when the push rod moves distally.

Abstract: Methods for controlling in real time an aspect of a process in a mobile or wearable device with a cadence of the device user are described, where the cadence of the device user is determined with an update frequency greater than the user's step frequency, and the controlling is also performed with an update frequency greater than the user's step frequency. For example, the determination of the user's cadence may leverage a combination of frequency and time techniques, with the analysis of, for instance, substantial orientation changes experienced by the device, or the detection of abrupt changes in the user's cadence.
