  • Patent number: 11132622
Abstract: A bioinformatics system for autonomous hypothesis generation for relatedness of seemingly independent concepts having tenuous or no prior known relationship in a knowledgebase. Independent concept pairs are identified in a question, and they are evaluated in light of lists of their similar concepts, and in light input documents, word embeddings, and co-occurrence matrices that are organized as a time series. Relationships between the independent concepts are hypothesized based on temporal analysis of relatedness measures of their similar concepts, measured via candidate connecting concepts.

  • Patent number: 11126784
Abstract: A chat-based persistent messaging platform that can seamlessly convert messages from different modalities (e.g., email clients and text message clients) into persistent messages and vice versa is described herein. The platform can include a parsing processor to convert messages into standard format data. A message classifier can process the standard format data into different subcomponents. These subcomponents can be translated into persistent messaging content via one or more content processing engines. The persistent messaging content can be converted into a persistent message via the parsing processor. The message classifier can also add messages into a persistent thread so that message history between two or more users can be maintained in perpetuity.

  • Patent number: 11127210
Abstract: A system for automatically displaying virtual objects within a mixed reality environment is described. In some embodiments, a see-through head-mounted display device (HMD) identifies a real object (e.g., a person or book) within a field of view of the HMD, detects one or more interactions associated with real object, and automatically displays virtual objects associated with the real object if the one or more interactions involve touching or satisfy one or more social rules stored in a social rules database. The one or more social rules may be used to infer a particular social relationship by considering the distance to another person, the type of environment (e.g., at home or work), and particular physical interactions (e.g., handshakes or hugs). The virtual objects displayed on the HMD may depend on the particular social relationship inferred (e.g., a friend or acquaintance).

  • Patent number: 11099867
Abstract: Conversation user interfaces that are configured for virtual assistant interaction may include contextual interface items that are based on contextual information. The contextual information may relate to a current or previous conversation between a user and a virtual assistant and/or may relate to other types of information, such as a location of a user, an orientation of a device, missing information, and so on. The conversation user interfaces may additionally, or alternatively, control an input mode based on contextual information, such as an inferred input mode of a user or a location of a user. Further, the conversation user interfaces may tag conversation items by saving the conversation items to a tray and/or associating the conversation items with indicators.

  • Patent number: 11049072
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating virtual collaboration between users within virtual environments are disclosed. A plurality of users access a collaborative virtual environment system at various times using interface devices to establish an asynchronous virtual collaboration session in which users collaborate in real-time and/or asynchronously. To enable asynchronous collaboration, data from virtual collaboration session is stored and presented to later users, including user movements and interactions with the environment, user annotation, and audio communications or comments. Other users may then access the data at a later time, and later user interactions, annotations, and audio may likewise be stored for further review by other users.

  • Patent number: 11023089
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for facilitating transition in a rendering of a network page given a resizing of a view port of a viewing window on a client device. The client device renders a network page in a view port on a display device, the network page defining a plurality of view port resolution ranges. The client device then implements a first level of changes in a display of the network page in response to resizing of the view port within a respective one of the view port resolution ranges. The client device subsequently implements a second level of changes in the display of the network page in response to resizing of the view port through a transition threshold defined between a respective pair of the view port resolution ranges.

  • Patent number: 11002558
Abstract: A device displays a first user interface on a first display, including a plurality of objects and corresponding to a second user interface on a second display. While a first object is displayed as a selected object in the second user interface, the device: detects a first input requesting information about a second object; and in response to detecting the first input, displays information about the second object in the first user interface and maintains display of the first object as the selected object in the second user interface. After displaying the information, the device detects a second input selecting the second object. In response to detecting selection of the second input, the device: displays the second object as the selected object in the first user interface; and provides, to the second display, information that enables the second user interface to display the second object as the selected object.

  • Patent number: 10990280
Abstract: The subject matter of this specification describes a method that includes determining when to send a user selection of a first key on a keyboard to an operating system, where the operating system supports shortcut key combinations. The device identifies the user selection of the first key, as input for an application. The device determines that the first key is part of a shortcut key combination. The processing device determines whether a cursor is visible in a user interface provided by the application. Upon determining that the cursor is visible in the user interface, the device waits for another user selection of one or more remaining keys of the shortcut key combinations before sending the first key to the operating system. Upon determining that the cursor is not visible in the user interface, the device sends the first key to the operating system without waiting for another user selection.

  • Patent number: 10977058
Abstract: An application server provides an application to client devices. Users of the client devices interact with the application to perform a business process. Data regarding user interactions with the application is transmitted from the client devices to the application server. Based on an analysis of the received data, a bot generation server generates a bot to automate a process step. The bot generation server provides a heatmap user interface (UI) that provides information regarding the process steps. Using the heatmap UI, the administrator selects a process step for automation. In response to the selection, the bot generation server identifies, based on the observed behavior, relationships between input fields, typical values for input fields, typical order of data entry into input fields, or any suitable combination thereof. Based on the identified patterns, the bot generation server generates a bot to automate some or all of the process step.

  • Patent number: 10972361
Abstract: An information handling system for managing equipment in a datacenter includes a display, a wireless communication interface, and an imaging system configured to capture image data from within a field of view of the imaging system. The information handling system shows the image data on the display, and provides an augmented reality overlay on the display over the image data. The augmented reality overlay locates an element of datacenter equipment that needs to be serviced. The information handling system further determines that the element is within the field of view, establishes a wireless communication link with the element via the wireless communication interface in response to determining that the element is within the field of view, and receives an instruction to service the element from a remote service system in response to establishing the wireless communication link.

  • Patent number: 10936186
Abstract: The disclosure generally describes methods, software, and systems for providing features in a user interface supporting gestures for navigating analytic data. A client device prepares a presentation including, for each data value, a data value display element and an association between the data value display element and a display location in a display area. User interaction information is received identifying a user interaction with the presentation of the data values and a user interaction location in the display area in which the user interaction occurred. A UI operation is identified to apply to the data values based on associations between the data value display elements and the display location. Identification is based on the received user interaction information. An updated presentation of the data values is prepared using the UI operation on the set of data values. The preparing occurs without obtaining additional data values from a server.
