  • Patent number: 10296277
Abstract: An appliance device to display a workspace with an aspect ratio assigned to the workspace, regardless of the aspect ratio of a local display. The appliance device displays only a portion of the workspace in a viewport window at one time. The appliance device also displays a preview version of the entire workspace. The preview version comprises a user-interface tool which enables panning of the workspace in the viewport window. A presenter device makes a presentation while interacting with a workspace while viewer devices watch the presentation. A viewer device displays the workspace with the assigned aspect ratio and displays only portion of the workspace at one time. When the presenter device interacts with a location of the workspace, the presenter device operates in conjunction with a messaging infrastructure and the viewer devices to automatically cause each of the viewer devices to display the location of interaction in the workspace.

  • Patent number: 10247568
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide methods for generating navigation presentations that display a device navigating a route on a map. The method uses a virtual camera that, based on detected changes to the navigation context, dynamically modifies how it captures map portions to produce navigation scenes in the presentation. The method of some embodiments identifies attribute sets describing different navigation contexts and uses these attribute sets to identify virtual camera operating styles. The method uses an identified style to specify the virtual camera's positional attributes, which define the map portions identified for rendering to produce navigation scenes over time. During the navigation presentation, each time the navigation context changes, the identified attribute set may change. This, in turn, may cause the method to select a new virtual camera operating style. When the style changes, the method modifies the way the virtual camera captures the map portion to render.

  • Patent number: 10217187
Abstract: The method for dynamic video magnification magnifies small motions occurring simultaneously within large motions. The method involves selecting a region of interest from a video for magnification. The region of interest is warped to obtain a stabilized sequence of frames that discounts large motions. Each frame of the stabilized sequence is decomposed to a foreground layer, a background layer, and an alpha matte layer, and each of the foreground and alpha matte layers is magnified. Then a magnified sequence is generated from the magnified layers using matte inversion. Any image holes in the magnified sequence are filled in using texture synthesis. Finally, the magnified sequence is de-warped to the original space-time coordinates.

  • Patent number: 10190404
Abstract: A method includes conveying a pipe inspection tool including one or more sensors into a wellbore having at least one pipe, transmitting an excitation signal from the pipe inspection tool and measuring response signals with the sensors, and processing the response signals to obtain measured responses. A map of the pipe is then generated based on the measured responses, where the map is divided into pipe ranges extending along the length of the pipe and each pipe range corresponds to a percentage of metal loss in the pipe. A photorealistic image is assigned to each pipe range based on the percentage of metal loss, and a two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) image is then generated as a combination of each photorealistic image. The 2D or 3D image is then graphically visualized.
