  • Patent number: 10607531
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a display driving circuit, a driving method thereof and a display apparatus. A signal receiving antenna detects the degree of noise coupling of a pair of differential data transmission lines, and transmits to a signal compensation controller a voltage value of a coupling signal. The signal compensation controller transmits to a timer controller and/or a source IC a correction signal corresponding to the voltage value of the coupling signal, which is used to adjust differential data signals transmitted over the pair of differential data transmission lines.

  • Patent number: 10599312
Abstract: Apparatus and method are provided that are capable of controlling a display in response to reliable detection of a sliding movement operation of a pointer (e.g., a user's finger) that passes through an end of a display region. The apparatus and method utilize a position detection sensor, which is superposed on the display and configured to detect the pointer's position discretely and successively at a predetermined time interval. Based on a first position detected by the position detection sensor and a second position detected, at the predetermined time interval since the detection of the first position, by the position detection sensor, which together indicate a moving operation of the pointer, it is determined whether the moving operation of the pointer has crossed an end of the display region. If it is so determined, a passed end position of the display region is calculated based on the first and second positions.

  • Patent number: 10423248
Abstract: In one embodiment, computer-readable non-transitory storage media receive one or more signals based on motion of an object, a device, or both. The received signals are compared to a motion profile which defines unintended motion of the object, the device, or both, and this comparison determines whether any of the signals represent unintended motion of the stylus or device. The received signals are then processed to correct for the unintended motion defined by the motion profile.

  • Patent number: 10372265
Abstract: Touch sensitivity is enabled using a touch system that comprises a panel configured to conduct signals, along detection lines across a touch surface. A signal processor operates in a sequence of repetitions to: generate data samples that represent detected signal energy on the actual detection lines; generate based on the data samples, an interpolated sinogram comprising interpolation samples that represent fictitious detection lines which have a desired location on the touch surface; and reconstruct a signal interaction pattern for the touch surface based on the interpolated sinogram. The signal processor implements an error correction to counteract the influence of a change in validity status for a data sample among the data samples, by identifying interpolation samples affected by the change in validity status, and by setting each identified interpolation sample to a value that maintains a relative signal transmission of the fictitious detection line from a former repetition.

  • Patent number: 10282067
Abstract: An apparatus includes a touch panel display and circuitry for controlling the touch panel display such that an initial selection range of at least one of one or more character strings and one or more images is displayed. The circuitry determines, based on a predetermined condition of an input operation, a first mode and a second mode of altering the initial selection range. The circuitry alters the initial selection range by controlling the touch panel display such that, in response to a detection of the input operation and based on the determined mode, a starting point and/or an end point of the initial selection range are moved at a predetermined speed. The circuitry respectively controls the touch panel display under the first mode and the second mode such that the predetermined speed is different than, or the same as, a speed that the instruction object moves on the operation surface.
