  • Patent number: 11510204
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining, at a beamformee, to transmit data signals from transmitting spatial streams at one or more beamformers. Next, a gain resulting from an uplink transmit beamforming protocol may be determined to exceed an overhead of the transmit beamforming protocol. In response to the determination, the uplink transmit beamforming protocol may be conducted. This protocol includes, transmitting trigger frames to the beamformers to obtain channel data regarding channels between each of the transmitting antennae and the active receiving antennae, receiving responses to the trigger frames from each of the beamformers, generating the channel data based on the received responses, feeding back the channel data to each of the beamformers, scheduling the uplink transmit beamforming protocol based on the channel data, and receiving an integrated data signal from the beamformers based on a processing of the data signals via the uplink transmit beamforming protocol.

  • Patent number: 11489967
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems and methods for a collaboration conferencing system to track a total number of concurrently utilized ports across any number of conferencing bridges of the network for a particular customer and one or more billing actions may occur based on this tracking. This may result in an alternate billing option for the customer's use of the system. Further, a telecommunications network administrator may provide access to the collaboration conferencing system based on a total number of concurrently utilized ports rather than on a per conference or per minute basis. With the information of the number of purchased ports by the customer, the administrator may more accurately predict an available capacity for the collaboration conferencing system needed to support all of the users of the system and the potential collaboration conferences.

  • Patent number: 11490344
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide staggered synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) in frequency sub-bands for beamformed wireless communications. Transmissions of SSBs and control channel transmissions (e.g., remaining minimum system information (RMSI) physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions) may use multiple transmission beams in a beam sweeping procedure. The SSB transmissions may be transmitted using transmission beams that span one frequency sub-band of a number of available frequency sub-bands, and the control channel transmissions may use transmission beams that span two or more of the frequency sub-bands. The SSB beam sweeping procedure may be performed separately during staggered, non-overlapping time periods for each frequency sub-band of the number of frequency sub-bands. Each of the of SSBs may indicate a reference timing of the base station used to identify a set of resources (e.g.

  • Patent number: 11483876
Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method for use in a user equipment (UE) of managing a listen-before-talk (LBT) contention window size comprises transmitting a first burst of uplink subframes after a first LBT procedure performed using an LBT contention window size, and determining a reference subframe based on the first burst. The reference subframe is associated with a reference hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier. The method further comprises receiving scheduling for a second burst of uplink subframes. The scheduling comprises an associated HARQ process identifier and an associated new data indicator (NDI) for each subframe. When the UE determines the HARQ process identifier associated with at least one of the subframes of the second burst matches the reference HARQ process identifier, then if the associated NDI indicates new data, the method resets the LBT contention window size, else the method increments the LBT contention window size.

  • Patent number: 11452122
Abstract: A MEC relocation service automatically directs user equipment (UE) away from a “home” multi-access edge computing (MEC) cluster to a different MEC cluster when the home MEC cluster cannot support service while the UE is outside a regional area. A MEC cluster may receive an application service request for MEC services from a UE device outside a regional service area of the MEC cluster. The MEC cluster may determine if service level requirements for the application service request can be met by the MEC cluster. When the service level requirements cannot be met by the network device, the MEC cluster may submit, to a network device, a query for a different MEC cluster in another regional service area. The MEC cluster may establish a direct connection with the different MEC cluster to transfer customer data for the application service request.
