Abstract: A New Guinea Impatiens plant designated SAKIMP070 is disclosed. Embodiments include seeds of New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070, plants of New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070, to plant parts of New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070, and methods for producing an impatiens plant produced by crossing New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070 with itself or with another impatiens variety. Embodiments include methods for producing an impatiens plant containing in its genetic material one or more genes or transgenes and transgenic impatiens plants and plant parts produced by those methods. Embodiments also relate to impatiens varieties, breeding varieties, plant parts, and cells derived from New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070, methods for producing other impatiens lines or plant parts derived from New Guinea Impatiens SAKIMP070, and the impatiens plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods.
Abstract: A new and distinct variety of apple tree rootstock Malus domestica x Malus robusta hybrid ‘G.257’ is described. The new variety is a semi-dwarfing rootstock that is resistant to fire blight (Erwinia amylovora) and crown rot (Phytophthora cactorum) and tolerant to the replant disease complex. The ‘G.257’ rootstock is useful in that it can be propagated clonally and used as a rootstock or root system for apple trees as well as for interstems of apple trees.

Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Coleus (Coleus scutellarioides) plant named ‘UF19-42-14’, selected for having a combination of desirable traits that make it well-suited for good performance as an annual plant in the summer landscape. ‘UF19-42-14’ has contrasting yellow green leaf color with prominent dark purplish red veins, and excellent overall plant vigor in all trials. ‘UF19-42-14’ maintains its foliage late into the Fall season until frost. It has a very stable leaf color in both sun and shade and was well-branched and vigorous in all locations trialed. Due to its striking color combination and vigorous upright and spreading habit, this plant will likely be grown in landscapes as a specimen annual plant filling a large amount of space with color in a very short period of time.
