Abstract: An improvement in Source-to-Image Distance monitors for automatic adjusting X-ray radiography equipment having a cable, rewind spring, a self-traversing constant diameter takeup drum moving past a fixed aperture, an electrical potentiometer to provide a continuously varying electrical output signal and a snap action switch mechanism to indicate relative movement of the X-ray apparatus being monitored.
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, an exposure time selector and a mAs relay are connected to a computer which controls the x-ray tube current according to the selected mAs product and the freely selected value of exposure time. For example, the exposure time may be set to any of a range of analog values for determining exposure time, while the mAs relay is disconnected from the exposure termination switching circuit.
Abstract: A hybrid integrated circuit for high output power having a conductive pattern on a ceramic substrate, a lead frame connected to said pattern, and electronic components mounted on said pattern wired with one another, has been found. When said conductive pattern has an inductor in a spiral shape, the same spiral pattern is conformed on the lead frame, and those two spiral patterns are overlapped. Thus, the resistance of the inductor is reduced since the conductive pattern and the lead frame pattern are connected parallel to each other. Then, a large current can be loaded to said inductance with only a small loss. As the material of the lead frame is cheap, the resultant hybrid integrated circuit can be manufactured at a lower cost.
