Abstract: A video data processing system comprises a control module coupled with a source module for receiving video data from the source module, the video data being associated with at least one source viewpoint; and a view adjustment module coupled with the control module for generating at least one adjusted viewpoint of the video data based on at least one of a set viewpoint number and a number of the at least one source viewpoint. The set viewpoint number is associated with at least one of a viewpoint number of at least one previously received video data and a viewpoint number of at least one previously coupled player module.

Abstract: A display apparatus may include, but is not limited to: an image display device; and a fiber optic plate disposed over a display surface of the image display device. A method for displaying images may include, but is not limited to: generating an image on a display device; receiving light corresponding to the image at a fiber optic plate; and reducing at least one of luminance asymmetry, luminance non-uniformity, and color shift across a viewing angle of the image display device according to a configuration of the fiber optic plate. A method for displaying images may include, but is not limited to: generating a stereoscopic image on a display device; receiving light corresponding to the stereoscopic image at a fiber optic plate; and reducing at least one of luminance asymmetry, luminance non-uniformity, and color shift across a viewing angle and may also reduce/eliminate reverse-stereoscopic effects in the stereoscopic image according to a configuration of the fiber optic plate.

Abstract: A system is disclosed that includes an image recording assembly for recording images of a stator vane of a compressor and a mechanism configured to magnetically couple the image recording assembly to a rotor blade of a compressor. Additional systems are provided that include image recording assemblies. Methods implementing the disclosed systems are also provided.
Abstract: There is described a display device for displaying cross-sectional representations of an object, the display device comprising: a frame; and a plurality of display units mounted on the frame, each one of the plurality of display units adapted to display a cross-sectional image of the object, the cross-sectional image comprising at least one internal feature of the object and being dependent on a spatial position in a three-dimensional environment of a corresponding one of the plurality of display units on which the cross-sectional image is to be displayed, the plurality of display units being connectable to a processor adapted to generate the cross-sectional image for each one of the plurality of display units as function of the spatial position.
Abstract: A system for decoding video including receiving quantized coefficients representative of a block of video representative of a plurality of pixels and dequantizing the quantized coefficients. The system inverse transform the dequantized coefficients using a first one dimensional inverse transform and a second one dimensional inverse transform to determine a decoded residue where the result of the first one-dimensional inverse transform are shifted different amounts using a shifting process based upon the magnitude of the dequantized coefficients.

Abstract: A garment security system includes a clothing garment adapted to be worn over an upper torso of the user. A mini-camera may be located in a back portion of the clothing garment and may further be suitably positioned to provide a clear view of the area behind the user. The system may include a user interface such that upon receiving a user input, may generate and transmit a control signal to the mini-camera for manually manipulating an operating mode of the mini-camera. A portable communication device may be communicatively coupled to the mini-camera to display a captured video of the area behind the user. The frame rate of the video capture may be varied to provide a higher frame capture rate or a lower frame capture rate upon occurrence of a trigger event. The portable communication device may further be adapted to be worn on a wrist of the user.
Abstract: An automated optical inspection system for the runout tolerance of circular saw blades comprises a rotating device, a first and a second optical inspection module, and a computing device. The rotating device is used to rotate a circular saw blade. The circular saw blade includes multiple teeth, and each tooth has a side and a back. The first/second optical inspection module is used to capture a side/back image of the tooth. The computing device activates the rotating device to rotate the circular saw blade, and activates the first and the second optical inspection module to capture the side image and the back image of each tooth upon rotation of the circular saw blade. The computing device performs a radial-position-calculating procedure according to the side images, to obtain an amount of radial runout, and performs an axial-position-calculating procedure according to the back images, to obtain an amount of axial runout.
