Abstract: Scalable architectures, systems, and services are provided herein for generating jobs by applying user-specified rules to events in an action log framework (ALF) stream is disclosed. More specifically, collaboration environments can include features or mechanisms that allow end-users or collaborators to perform a variety of actions such as, for example, file uploads and previews, or collaboration operations such as, for example, task assignment and comments. These actions can be captured or logged by an action log framework and, as described herein, automatically translated into one or more jobs by applying customizable user-specified rules.

Abstract: Provided herein are exemplary systems and methods for an intelligent secure networked system configured by at least one processor to execute instructions stored in memory, the system including a data retention system and an emotional analytics system, the emotional analytics system performing asynchronous processing to determine if interactions with a user's computing device are such that the user is responding from an emotional state of mind or a meditated state of mind.

Abstract: An interface of a separate module added to a web browser is overlaid over content of a window of the web browser. A new content item to be added to a repository of content items shared among a select group of users is received via the overlaid interface of the separate module. A search input is received via the overlaid interface of the separate module. One or more content items responsive to the search input within the repository of content items shared among the select group of users are identified. At least one of the identified content items responsive to the search input is provided via the overlaid interface of the separate module for use in the content of the window of the web browser.

Abstract: To provide a hierarchical visual paradigm while maintaining the communication advantages of sibling extensions, a visual hierarchy simulation extension generates and maintains placeholders in a visually hierarchical manner, with the visual positioning of such placeholders informing the visual positioning of overlays of frames hosting the visual output of sibling extensions. Such a visual hierarchy simulation extension is utilized to layout and establish a desired visual hierarchy. One or more modules of computer-executable instructions are invoked to provide the relevant functionality, including the obtaining of the visual positioning of placeholders, the relevant visual translation between the visual positioning of placeholders and the visual overlaying of corresponding frames, the generation and movement of the corresponding frames, and the instantiation of extension content within the corresponding frames. The visual hierarchy simulation extension is hosted independently from the one or more modules.

Abstract: Systems and methods for communicating and displaying collections of images according to a user-selected queue are described. In some example embodiments, a system aggregates content items organized into collections for display to a user on a device. The system receives a selection from the user of a desired order of collection display, based on the user selecting queue request elements associated with the content collections. In response to receiving a playlist request from the user, the system causes display of the content collections in the order selected by the user. In some example embodiments, the system automatically queues one or more pieces of autoforward content to automatically play after the completion of the queued content.

Abstract: A system that allows customers to collaborate with vehicle accessory manufacturers to design accessories in an augmented reality environment. A customer decision making and purchasing experience is greatly improved when viewing a physical showroom model (or other real-world model) of a vehicle they intend to purchase and/or customize. The system allows the user to select and customize virtual accessories for the physical vehicle, then overlay those virtual accessories atop the physical vehicle in an augmented reality environment.

Abstract: A method for data processing includes displaying, at a user interface, a plurality of attributes that are defined by a data model configured for a tenant of a multi-tenant system. The plurality of attributes includes a one-to-many attribute that is configured to support multiple inputs and a direct attribute configured to support a single input. The method may further include receiving a selection of a first one-to-many attribute for defining an expression for identifying a segment of entities. The method may further include activating, for selection at the user interface, a subset of the attributes based on each attribute of the subset being dependent on the first attribute. The method may further include receiving an indication of the expression, executing a database query to identify the segment of entities, and transmitting, to a content communication system, an indication of the segment of entities.

Abstract: A screenshot or screen capture operation method for an electronic device includes: capturing a screen displayed on a display; determining whether additional information exists on the displayed screen; when the additional information exists, extracting the additional information, based on the displayed screen; determining whether a command for modifying the captured screen has been received; when the command for modifying the captured screen is determined as having been received, modifying the captured screen according to a user input; and storing the extracted additional information and/or the captured screen as a captured image. The resulting method enables a user to capture a screen intended or desired by the user.

Abstract: A remote control display management system is disclosed. In an example, a remote control apparatus for unmanned systems includes a display screen for displaying graphic elements and a memory device storing a file for a graphic element and display parameters for displaying the graphic element. The apparatus also includes a processor and an application programming interface (“API”). The processor receives a command message from a host computer via the API. The command message includes at least one parameter value. The processor determines the command message is related to the graphic element stored in the memory device, and causes the graphic element to be displayed on the display screen by applying the at least one parameter value to the display parameters. The disclosed apparatus enables feature-rich high resolution graphics to be displayed on a remote control regardless of a connection speed with a host computer.

Abstract: A messaging system for exchanging data over a network, configuring an intermediate connection tier system that provides a multi-tier connections messaging framework. The intermediate connection tier system generates, based on the contact data of a user, an intermediate tier of connected user accounts. Each account in the intermediate tier of connected user accounts is provided with messaging privileges with respect to the account of the user, without being associated with expanded access connection tier links, sometimes referred to as friendship links, between their respective accounts with respect to the account of the user.

Abstract: A controller for augmenting reality in a three-dimensional (3D) space includes a memory that stores instructions; and a processor that executes the instructions. The controller controls a display system configured to present virtual objects in the 3D space. When executed by the processor, the instructions cause the controller to perform a process. The process includes detecting a first action by a user relative to an object or a virtual object in the 3D space. The process also includes selectively enabling or disabling a virtual operation member based on detecting the first action between the user and the object or virtual object in the 3D space. The virtual operational member is configured, when operated, to control operation of a machine in the 3D space.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and a method capable of implementing more various communications. In a space of a user, an input of information by the user is accepted, and tag information for associating control information for controlling occurrence of an event for a communication partner of the user with a space of the communication partner is generated using the accepted information. Furthermore, it is determined whether or not an occurrence condition of the event designated by the tag information for associating the control information for controlling the occurrence of the event for the communication partner with the space of the communication partner, the tag information associated with the space of the user is satisfied, and in a case where it is determined that the occurrence condition is satisfied, the event designated by the tag information is allowed to occur.

Abstract: A desktop switcher provides equally convenient user interface navigational access to remote virtual desktops as to local virtual desktops for reliable and convenient human-computer interaction. Underlying mechanisms transparently confirm remote computer availability and compatibility, transfer thumbnails between computers, and support remoting sessions. Virtual desktops may share a clipboard, a geographic location setting, and application thumbnails, despite being based on computers that are remote from one another, e.g., when only one of a session's computers resides in a cloud. Virtual desktop context menus may be shown and utilized remotely. A visual separator in the desktop switcher may distinguish local virtual desktops from remote virtual desktops.

Abstract: Methods and systems provide for a spatial chat view dashboard within a messaging platform. A system displays, at a client device, a dashboard user interface for a messaging platform, consisting of at least a dashboard virtual background and one or more spatial chat rooms. Each of the spatial chat rooms is a spatial representation of a chat session associated with a number of participants. The system receives, from the client device, a selection of a spatial chat room from the one or more spatial chat rooms. The system then displays a spatial chat user interface comprising the selected spatial chat room.

Abstract: Method and systems for controlling a display device, including detecting a mid-air gesture using a sensing device; mapping the detected mid-air gesture to locations of an interaction region, the interaction region including an on-screen region of the display device and an off-screen region that is located outside an edge of the on-screen region; and performing a display device control action upon detecting an edge interaction based on the mapping of the detected mid-air gesture to locations that interact with the edge of the on-screen region.

Abstract: Provided is a mobile terminal characterized by comprising: a display unit which outputs visual information; a depth camera which captures a subject and acquires a depth image; a memory which stores a vein pattern of a user's hand; and a control unit connected to the display unit, the depth camera, and the memory. The control unit identifies the shape of the user's hand from the depth image, authenticates the user using a pre-stored user vein pattern, and when the user is authenticated, executes a specific application in response to a three-dimensional gesture of the user's hand, and omits an authentication procedure required by the specific application.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments are directed to a method for allowing a user at a first client device to provide access to restricted content on a content provider server to a user at a second client device without providing identifying information of the second client device or the user to the content provider. The second client device receives, in a messaging app, a message from the first client device comprising a link to a content item at a content provider and an identifier of a private/public key pair on the second client device. Second client device displays the link in the user interface of the messaging app and receives a user selection of the link. Second client device generates generating a digital signature for the link using the private key of the private/public key pair and sends the link and the digital signature to the content provider. The content item is then received from the content provider and displayed on the second client device.
