Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for presenting change of presence sounds within a virtual working environment. The program and method provide for receiving, from a first client device of a first participant of a group of participants within a virtual working environment, interaction data relating to the first participant being present at the first client device, the group of participants having been selected from among plural participants of the virtual working environment; determining a change in presence of the first participant with respect to the first client device; generating, in response to the determining, a sound corresponding to the change in presence; and providing the generated sound to one or more second client devices of respective one or more second participants of the group of participants, for presentation on the one or more second client devices.

Abstract: A user management method according to the present disclosure includes: storing (S101) appliance use information including: appliance identification information for identifying an appliance; user information for identifying a user of the appliance; and an operating state of the appliance when the appliance was used; analyzing (S102) the appliance use information stored in the storing (S101) to identify, from among a plurality of functions of the appliance, one or more first functions each having a use frequency less than or equal to a threshold value; and providing (S103) the user with a notice which prompts use of the one or more first functions identified in the analyzing (S102).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided for sharing user interface (UI) customization across applications. Application developers may create UIs (e.g., game control layouts) with control groups that may be customizable as a group. A control group may comprise a plurality of controls selectively assigned to cluster of sockets (e.g., a socket group) in a layout template. Controls in control groups may be customized as a group, for example, by changing a position, rotation and/or scale of a control group. Users can customize controls for comfort, switch controls for right and left-handed play and share customized preferences across applications. UI customization may be shared across applications with different UIs. For example, customization of one or more control groups in a first UI may be applied to one or more control groups in other UIs for other applications. Users may avoid tedious, time-consuming individual control changes for many UIs.

Abstract: A scanning system comprises an intraoral scanner to capture scan data of a dental site and a computing device to generate a 3D rendering of the dental site. The scanner comprises one or more input devices configured to provide manual interaction with the computing device, where: a first activation of the input device(s) causes the scanning system to enter the scan mode, wherein the 3D rendering has a first visualization during the scan mode; and a second activation of the input device(s) causes the scanning system to enter an overlay mode, wherein the 3D rendering has a second visualization during the overlay mode, wherein the computing device is to present a menu comprising menu options on the display while the scanning system is in the overlay mode, and wherein the scanner is usable to select among the presented menu options.

Abstract: Techniques are provided herein for selecting and transmitting snippets from a messaging application. A “snippet” refers to an audio segment of a song that is less than the whole of the song. A user may request to view various audio segments (e.g., by category, by search, etc.) corresponding to portions of respective songs via a user interface of the messaging application. In some embodiments, an audio segment can be selected and metadata associated with that particular audio segment may be transmitted to another computing device where the audio segment can be played (e.g., streamed). In this manner, these snippets can be employed by the user to enhance their chat or texting conversation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to distributing a survey created for a first distribution channel across multiple distribution channels. More specifically, one or more embodiments of the present disclosure relate to providing a user with the ability to create a survey for one distribution channel and automatically provide the survey across multiple distribution channels. Further, one or more embodiments of the present disclosure improves survey administration by collecting responses to the survey from across the various distribution channels, compiling the responses, and providing the overall results of the survey to the user.

Abstract: A method for implementing visualization of public welfare activities includes: displaying to a target user a map of a geographic region for carrying out a public welfare activity in response to the target user's selection, wherein the map comprises a first geographic location associated with a first icon indicating that the public welfare activity has been carried out at the first geographic location and a second geographic location associated with a second icon indicating that the public welfare activity is able to be carried out at the second geographic location; when a relationship exists between the target user and a public welfare activity participant user that has carried out the public welfare activity on the map, displaying on the map user information of the public welfare activity participant user; updating the second icon to be a first icon in response to the target user's selection on the second icon.

Abstract: A system adapted to link email conversations is disclosed. An email client identifies email conversations from email header information and presents the conversations along with other emails in a user's inbox. The user interface receives user inputs selecting first and second email conversations and specifying that the two should be linked. The email client generates an identifier and associates the identifier with emails that are comprised in the selected first and second conversations. When a recipient receives an email that is part of a conversation that has been linked by another user, the recipient's email client notifies the user of the prior linking and provides a button with which the recipient may also implement the link. A user may select to create a new email and link the new email to an existing conversation. An identifier is generated and associated with the new email and emails in the selected conversation.

Abstract: A method for virtual meeting content sharing comprises, during a virtual meeting, receiving a request to share visual interface content including one or more visual content elements rendered by a client computing device with one or more remote participant devices. For each of the one or more visual content elements, an element feature vector is determined. Each of the one or more element feature vectors are sent to a remote meeting server. From the remote meeting server, an indication is received that a specified visual content element is flagged as potentially subject to filtering, based at least in part on a difference between (1) a meeting feature vector and (2) the element feature vector for the specified visual content exceeding a content filter threshold, the meeting feature vector quantifying a plurality of meeting context parameters of the virtual meeting.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, presentation of candidate inputs may be facilitated based on a user interface location of a related candidate input. In some embodiments, a text input may be obtained via a user interface (e.g., via a virtual keyboard). A first candidate input related to the text input may be presented at a first location of the user interface. A first user selection with respect to the first candidate input may be obtained, and a candidate input set related to the first candidate input may be presented on the user interface based on the first user selection. As an example, the candidate input set may be presented such that a second candidate input is presented closer to the first location than a third candidate input based on the second candidate input being associated with a higher likelihood of being selected by a user than the third candidate input.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided that leverage existing information displayed or presented to a user by an app without requiring the integration of new libraries or requiring a user to use a specific app. Rather, methods and systems presented herein identify a task, select an app or multiple apps capable of performing the task, obtain information that may be required by the app or apps, determine a contextual understanding of what is displayed by the selected app or apps, and finally generate and automate the interaction with the app or apps such that the interaction with the app or apps is handled by an automation agent, allowing a user to stay focused on one or more tasks that the user needs to accomplish.

Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing screen highlights and voice-over are disclosed. A system obtains a text container queued to be audibly read by a screen reader where the text container includes plain text and hyperlinks. The system determines each accessibility element in the text container, where each of the accessibility elements has one or more old accessibility frames associated with a screen highlight of a plain text or a hyperlink of the accessibility element, and where the screen highlight indicates what is being audibly read by the screen reader. For each of the accessibility elements, the system: determines one or more frames that captures the plain text or the hyperlink of the accessibility element to an exclusion of a plain text or a hyperlink corresponding to another accessibility element; converts the frames into a new accessibility frame; and replaces the old accessibility frame with the new accessibility frame.

Abstract: An on-image navigation guide can be generated utilizing coordinates of table data of a table in a document image. The on-image navigation guide enables a user to populate a data entry form with the table data by interacting directly with the document image. The data entry form is configured with the same number of columns as the table and the document image and the data entry form share the same data structure. The on-image navigation guide is presented on top of the document image. As a user navigates the document image, a focus point of the on-image navigation guide moves from table cell to table cell, providing an immediate visual feedback on what is captured in a corresponding data entry field. The on-image navigation guide includes an on-image context menu and a pin through which the user can make adjustments and/or corrections without leaving the document image.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for a future state graphical visualization generator are described herein, A graphical visualization of a current state of a user may be generated using electronic profile data of the user. The graphical visualization of the current state of the user may display objects associated with the user. The objects may be associated with a set of object parameters. A goal of the user may be obtained. A set of goal parameters may be generated based on the set of object parameters and the goal of the user. A graphical visualization of the future state of the user may be generated based on the set of goal parameters. A user response may be obtained to a display of the graphical visualization of the future state of the user. Guidance may be provided to the user for adjusting a goal parameter based on the user response.

The user input specifies an attendee of the online conference that is provide an electronic signature. A signature module is communicated within the online conference. The signature module is configured to receive the electronic signature from the attendee. The electronic signature received via the signature module from the attendee within the online conference is applied to the digital content.

Abstract: A voice activatable flight deck system including a voice recognition and processing system for receiving and processing input voice commands and determining machine commands for the voice activatable flight deck system. The system provides indications as to whether user interface functional elements are voice command enabled, disabled or whether voice command input is not available. The system provides directional feedback to the voice command depending on whether a pilot in command or second in command issued the voice input.

Abstract: Systems and methods of integrating message content into a target processing device configured to process input data having a predefined data structure. A messaging server is configured to receive a message from a messaging client device executing a messaging application. An orchestrator device is configured to integrate at least a part of the message content into a target data processing device, receive the part of the message content from the messaging server, and transmit a file derived from the part of the message content to a file processing device. The processing device is configured to transform each received file into a description file comprising a set of predefined keys. The orchestrator device is configured to derive an input file having the predefined data structure from the description file and transmit the input file to the target data processing device for processing of the input file by the target processing device.
