A second area of the interface device is identified, the second area having a second sensitivity to touch, where the second sensitivity is at least equal to the level of sensitivity. The UI element is relocated from the first area to the second area thereby forming a modified UI layout. The modified UI layout is sent for rendering on the interface device.

Abstract: Updating graphical user interface elements. A method includes accessing a graphical user interface which includes an initial view including graphical elements. Each of the following are performed (in order) if determined to be applicable: (1) updating in the graphical user interface any pan elements that are outside of the initial view; (2) animating any changes in axes of the graphical user interface to set the stage for data modifications; (3) performing any data element animations in the graphical user interface, including any moves, any additions, any removals and any changes for all updates except those already added in when updating any pan elements that are outside of the initial view and pan element removals that will not be visible in a final view; (4) animating any changes in the axes to the final view; and (5) updating any remaining elements that are now out of view.

The portable electronic device detects at least one user interaction during performance of the music track. Link information about the linked first and second objects is stored. A user interface outputs a date selector including a calculated dates option, wherein the calculated dates option is based on a date frequency applied to a date range. The user interface receives a selection via the date selector. Dates associated with the selection are identified. The user interface outputs the dates as a preview of a historical report, wherein the dates are output in a chronological order.

More particularly, apparatuses and methods relate to a user terminal which enables a user to select a part of an image and to transmit the part of the image to a display apparatus. Abstract: An image display apparatus and a method for operating an image display apparatus are disclosed. According to embodiments of the present invention, the image display apparatus comprises: a microphone; a display unit configured to output a pointer on a screen; and a controller generating a representative image corresponding to a first voice signal and attaching the representative image to the pointer when the first voice signal is input into the microphone in a state in which the pointer is output on the screen. Here, the controller enables the representative image attached to the pointer to be displayed along a moving path of the pointer in response to the movement of the pointer on the screen and, when a specific object on the screen is selected using the pointer to which the representative image is attached, enables a function related to the representative image corresponding to the first voice signal to be applied to the selected specific object while a display corresponding to the selection is output.

Abstract: A method controls an Internet portal for a social network service from a motor vehicle. The Internet portal provides functions that can be activated by sending a control command to the Internet portal. An immobile proxy device provides a module that receives a selection, which is made by a user in the motor vehicle, for one of the functions and then sends a control command, which is specific to the Internet portal, for activating the function to the Internet portal. The module also produces suitable display data for the motor vehicle from output data from the Internet portal. The computing device then performs a second function responsive to determining that the touch input comprises a swipe gesture.

In use, a first user input in a first region of a graphical user interface is received. Next, while receiving the first user input, a second user input is received in connection with one or more portions of displayed content in a second region of the graphical user interface. Such embodiments provide flexibility to users in defining metrics, such as Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and dashboard views. One such embodiment includes receiving a dashboard view request from a requestor. A dashboard configuration may then be retrieve from a database. The dashboard configuration typically includes various data elements that define either directly or by reference to other data and graphical elements from which a dashboard visualization can be rendered. The various data elements and graphical elements generally are user configurable and standardized to be interchangeable in defining and generating dashboard visualization based on underlying operational data of an organization.
