  • Patent number: 12122272
Abstract: A suspension system with vibration isolation is described. The system can incorporate a kinematic structure comprising pairs of X-shaped supporting structures connected in parallel. The kinematic structure limits motion in the vertical direction to a single degree of freedom. Tensioning/damping of the kinematic structure orthogonally to the vertical motion limits horizontal motion of the kinematic structure with a corresponding constraint of motion of in the vertical direction. The tensioning/damping imparts passive nonlinear stiffness and nonlinear damping of the vibrational energies across the suspension system. A tuning mechanism can be incorporated enabling tension/damping adjustment to accommodate different heights and payloads. The system can provide vibration isolation at low frequencies and over a wide range of operational frequencies. The suspension system has tunable ultra-low resonant frequencies with anti-resonance characteristics.

  • Patent number: 12109078
Abstract: A medical device support system including a shaft, an extension arm, and a free rotating ring. The shaft includes an elongated peripheral cavity that defines first and second contact faces at opposite peripheral ends. A hub of the extension arm is pivotably mounted for a range of at least 360 degrees rotation about a rotation axis of the shaft. The at least 360 degrees rotation range is based on a compound of a first rotation range and a second rotation range. The first rotation range is defined by a fixed stop of the hub configured to move between first and second contact faces of a radially outward protruding member of the free rotating ring. The second rotation range is defined by a radially inward protruding member of the free rotating ring configured to move between the first and second contact faces of the elongated peripheral cavity of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 12096868
Abstract: An apparatus having a flat foldable trifold structure is disclosed for holding printed materials, including mailable literature. In some implementations, the apparatus includes a foldable body having a first and second portion. The first portion is folded along a lateral axis of the foldable body. The first portion has a rectangular region defined by four points and four boundaries, where three of the boundaries define incisions in the first portion such that the remaining boundary is permitted to be folded relative to a remaining area of the first portion to define a second fold extending along the lateral axis. The second portion includes a base region and a protruding region which is folded relative to the base region to define a third fold extending along the lateral axis. When the first boundary is folded relative to the remaining area of the first portion, the third fold receives an end defined by the remaining boundary.
