Abstract: There is provided an apparatus, said apparatus comprising means for providing a request to an application client from a server for the application, or receiving a request from the application client at the server, for uplink transmission of cooperative awareness messages from the application client to a network, determining requirements associated with the application for cooperative awareness messages, based on the requirements, providing a request from the server to the network for resources and QoS parameters for uplink transmission of the cooperative awareness messages from the application client to the network, receiving at the server an indication of the availability of resources from the network; determining, based on the application requirements and the availability of resources, criteria for use in determining which of the cooperative awareness messages to provide to the network and providing the criteria to the application client from the server.

Abstract: A wireless communication network deregisters network functions. In the wireless communication, a network data system receives a deregistration command that indicates a wireless User Equipment (UE) and forwards the deregistration command to a Unified Data Management (UDM). The UDM receives the indication and determines a Data Network Name (DNN) for the wireless UE. The UDM identifies a network controller and a session controller for the wireless UE based on the DNN. The UDM transfers deregistration notifications to the network controller and session controller. The UDM receives a deregistration acknowledgement from the network controller. The UDM directs the network data system to remove stored session data for the session controller. The network data system receives the direction from the UDM and responsively removes stored session data for the session controller.

Abstract: An embodiment includes a method for use in managing a cluster comprising a plurality of computers, each computer comprising at least one hardware processor coupled to at least one memory. The method comprises a computer-implemented manager: collecting access pattern data for the plurality of computers; based at least in part on the access pattern data, determining that at least a first one of the plurality of computers is overutilized; and responsive to determining that the first computer is overutilized, moving stored data from the first computer to at least a second one of the plurality of computers.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for intelligently managing hero cards generated for a user profile. In an example, a server can collect user interaction data that measures how a user interacts with system components. The system components can include emails, hero cards, and software applications. The server can analyze the user interaction data to determine whether a new hero card type should be enabled for a user profile, whether an active hero card type should be disabled for the user profile, and whether parameters for action options on hero cards should be changed for the user profile. The server can make changes to hero cards for the user profile so that the user can receive customized hero cards based on the user's behavior.

Abstract: Distributed computing systems, devices, and associated methods of virtual RDMA switching are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes intercepting a command from an application in a container to establish an RDMA connection with a remote container on a virtual network. In response to the intercepted command, an RDMA endpoint at a physical NIC of a server is created. The method can also include intercepting another command to pair with a remote RDMA endpoint corresponding to the remote container. The intercepted another command contains data representing a routable network address of the remote RDMA endpoint in the RDMA computer network. Then, the RDMA endpoint created at the physical NIC of the server can be paired with the remote RDMA endpoint using the routable network address of the remote RDMA endpoint.

Abstract: A hyperlink message for machine-to-machine (M2M) or machine-to-human (M2H) communication has a semantic metadata tag, a content field, an executable specification field. Executable specification instructs a machine to perform a task associated with the machine related data, and post to a machine social media platform results of the task as content for the hyperlink message. The hyperlink message posting is visible and available to other participating machines on the machine social media platform to read and contribute related content as a hyperlink discussion of M2M or M2H communication.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for processing comments provided to a live chat stream. By way of example, embodiments obviate or mitigate problems associated with conventional live chat streams by assessing semantic uniqueness of collections of comments in a live chat stream and then determining a final importance score for each collection based on its semantic-uniqueness and activity score. The display of each collection can then be controlled based on its final importance score.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a network monitoring device for a supercomputer system having a plurality of supercomputer nodes. The network monitoring device may utilize plug-in software modules to provide network monitoring capabilities related to discovering the network topologies of the supercomputer system, determining network and computing resources that are available for new applications in the supercomputer system, collecting network and computing resources that are being used by running software applications in the supercomputer system, and monitoring running software applications on the supercomputer system.

Abstract: The disclosure herein pertains to a content creation service utilizing micro-services. The content creation service divides up the tasks for content creation including extracting a start portion, a stop portion, and merging the stop portion, start portion, and segments between the start portion and the stop portion. The content creation service utilizes micro-services in order to perform the tasks. Advantageously, use of micro-services allow for improved scalability and faster processing.

Abstract: Examples described herein may include a playback device receiving, from a control device, a validation-key that includes an application identifier corresponding to a controller application. The playback device may create a session identifier and transmit the session identifier to the control device. The playback device may receive, from the control device, a playback request comprising the session identifier and a playback command. The playback device may determine that the session identifier is valid and then execute the playback command. A computing system may receive identification information related to a controller application and generate the validation-key based on the controller application meeting at least one quality-control metric. The controller application may receive the validation-key from the computing system.

Abstract: A computer-based method of reducing or limiting data transmissions from a computer to a remote network destination includes receiving an indication, at an agent on a computer, that a recent user activity has occurred at the computer. The indication typically includes data relevant to user context when the user activity occurred. The method further includes determining, with the agent, whether the data relevant to the user's context when the user activity occurred indicates that a change in user context relative to a user activity at the computer immediately prior to the recent user activity and conditioning a transmission of data relevant to the recent user activity from the computer to a remote network destination based on an outcome of the determination.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating personalized messages. One example method includes identifying a media item at a first computing device and identifying a group of one or more recipients to send the media item and a personalized message to. An association between a user of the computing device and a recipient from the group is identified. A personalized message is generated based at least in part on the association between the user and the recipient. The media item and personalized message are sent to the recipient from the first computing device.

Abstract: An automated messaging reply-to system can automatically select which message a potential reply message is replying to. The automated messaging reply-to system can obtain a message thread, a potential reply message, and a context. The automated messaging reply-to system can filter the message thread and generate model inputs based on the remaining messages, the potential reply message, and the context. The automated messaging reply-to system can apply the model input to a machine learning model, which can generate reply scores for the remaining messages. After generating reply scores, the automated messaging reply-to system can determine whether the remaining message with the highest reply score qualifies as an originating message being replied to. The automated messaging reply-to system can cause display of the potential reply message as a reply-to for the determined originating message.

Abstract: A group communications platform facilitates that sharing of an application environment with other users. The platform may receive a request to initiate a group session for a local user and a remote user. An out-of-process network connection with a system communication channel between a local computing device associated with the local user and a remote computing device associated with the remote user may be established for the group session. A system call may be received from a local instance of a first application on the local computing device to transfer local data to a remote instance of the first application on the remote computing device via the out-of-process network connection. The local data may be transferred to the remote instance of the first application on the remote computing device via the out-of-process network connection and the system communication channel.

Abstract: An embodiment includes identifying which of a plurality of participants of a web conference is an identified participant associated with a selected cluster of a plurality of clusters of audio feed data of an audio feed of the web conference based on a self-introduction in the selected cluster. The embodiment also generates a first preliminary leadership score for the identified participant based on a speaking duration value associated with the identified participant and generates a second preliminary leadership score for the identified participant using a selected video segment as an input for a machine learning classifier model. The embodiment calculates a final leadership score for the identified participant based on the first and second preliminary leadership scores. The final leadership score is representative of a likelihood that the identified participant is a supervisor, and is indicative of the identified participant being a supervisor if it exceeds a designated threshold value.

Abstract: Devices, systems and processes for providing geo-located and content-to-comment synchronized user circles are described. For at least one embodiment, a system for facilitating a geo-location based user circle may include a hub configured to facilitate a sharing of comments between a first user and a second user via a user circle. The first user and the second user may be selected for participation in the user circle based upon a circleID associated each of a first user device and a second user device. A first user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a capture of the comments provided by the first user. A second user device, communicatively coupled to the hub, may be configured to facilitate a presentation of the comments to the second user. And, a second device geoID may be used to indicate a location of the second user device.

Abstract: A system providing connectivity management is provided. The system comprises: a content management server configured to manage connectivity for a network; one or more central controllers configured to collect connectivity information for at least a portion of the network for use by the content management server; and at least one outlet having one or more ports for receiving one or more plugs, wherein connectivity information is communicated between the outlet and the central controller through one or more wireless communication interface.
