  • Patent number: 9085437
Abstract: To enable a sheet to be folded in an accurate position with a simplified folding mechanism in performing folding processing on the sheet with a pair of folding rollers, a second transport path is disposed in a direction for crossing a first transport path for guiding a sheet from a carry-in portion to a carrying-out portion, and in the cross portion are disposed a folding roller pair for performing folding processing on a sheet, and a folding deflecting member for inserting a fold of the sheet in the nip portion. Then, the folding deflecting member is comprised of a driven roller that comes into press-contact with a roller periphery of the folding roller pair, and a shift member for shifting the driven roller from a waiting position to an actuation position, and by the operation of shifting the driven roller from the waiting position outside the path to the actuation position, the sheet front end portion is fed to the nip portion from an upstream-side guide path formed in the second transport path.

  • Patent number: 9061408
Abstract: A rigid member is configured to move a valve member to separate the valve member from an engaging part when a push lever moves from a lower dead center to an upper dead center. A resilient member is configured to move the valve member to separate the valve member from the engaging part when the push lever moves from the lower dead center to the upper dead center. A switching part selects one of the rigid member and the resilient member to move the valve member to separate the valve member from the engaging part. When the switching part selects the rigid member, a fastener driving operation is performed regardless of an order of a pulling operation and a pressing operation. When the switching part selects the resilient member, the fastener driving operation is performed only when the pulling operation is executed after the pressing operation is executed.

  • Patent number: 8997887
Abstract: A power tool performs a predetermined operation by using a tool bit and has a grip part and a dust suction device. The dust suction device has a dust suction part that extends in an axial direction of the tool bit and sucks and collects dust generated during operation at a tip of the tool bit. The dust suction part can be moved between a first position in which the dust suction part covers a bit tip of the tool bit and a second position in which the bit tip is exposed. The dust suction device further has an operation mode switching mechanism that is capable of switching between a first operation mode in which the dust suction part is allowed to move between the first and second positions and a second operation mode in which the dust suction part is locked in the second position.

  • Patent number: 8931575
Abstract: A fixed operating knob is rotatably arranged on a chain saw body. The fixed operating knob comprises a knob body, a tab, a torsion spring, and a lock member. The knob body is rotatably attached to the chain saw body. The tab is attached to the knob body. The tab is attached so as to be capable of swinging between an operating position projecting from the knob body and a storing position stored in the knob body. The torsion spring biases the tab toward the operating position. When the tab moves to the storing position, the lock member retains the tab at the storing position against a biasing force of the torsion spring.

  • Patent number: 8863479
Abstract: A container containing a fluorinated organic carbonate and a gas atmosphere which contains a cover gas selected from the group consisting of a noble gas, e.g., argon, xenon, a gaseous fluorinated aliphatic carbon which is heavier than air and does not interfere with the fluorinated organic compound, SF6, and any mixture thereof. Fluorinated organic carbonates are highly suitable as solvents or additives for solvent in Li ion batteries and consequently, must be kept in a very pure state even during expanded times of storage. The argon or xenon gas atmosphere prevents the intrusion of air or moisture even if the container is opened and the liquid handled in an environment of common air. A method of storing one or more fluorinated organic carbonates in a safe manner.

  • Patent number: 8770314
Abstract: A pneumatic motor unit includes a housing with an air inlet passage, an exhaust air outlet passage, and a rotation motor which generates a pulsating exhaust air outlet flow. The motor unit further includes a voltage depending device which communicates signals in response to at least one of an actual motor condition and operation parameter values, and a voltage generating section which is connected to the voltage depending device and which includes a piezoelectric element provided in the exhaust air outlet passage and arranged to be activated by pressure pulses of the pulsating exhaust air outlet flow from the motor. The piezoelectric element is tongue shaped and rigidly secured at one end, and is arranged to be swung in a two-way movement relative to a central rest position to thereby generate an alternating current voltage.
