Abstract: Systems and methods for using sensors with electronic devices are described. In one embodiment, a resistive-type sensor, such as a force sensor, is connected between the audio input and audio output of the electronic device. The device is programmed to provide a signal to the audio output and measure a signal at the audio input. The resistance of the sensor, and thus sensor measurement, may thus be determined.
