Abstract: A disclosed device includes a document managing apparatus including an image data acquiring unit acquiring original data of original documents in a predetermined layout, a layout information storing unit storing IDs and layout information, an original document determining unit determining the IDs of the original documents, a partial area information storing unit storing partial area information for the original data respectively for the IDs, a partial area extracting unit, an arrangement information storing unit storing arrangement information on paper in association with the IDs respectively for the partial areas, a synthetic image data generating unit forming synthetic image data in conformity with the arrangement information and forming identification information into the synthetic image data, a data accumulating unit causing a data storing unit to store the identification information and the original data, and a printing unit that prints a synthetic document having the synthetic image data.
Abstract: A registering apparatus includes: a first image data acquiring unit that acquires first image data from a first region on a recording medium; a second image data acquiring unit that acquires second image data from a second region that includes the first region; a third image data acquiring unit that acquires third image data from a third region that does not include the first region and differs from the second region when a correlation value between the second image data and the first image data is equal to or greater than a predetermined first threshold value; and a registering unit that registers the first image data as registration data that are image data to be used in authentication of the recording medium when a correlation value between the third image data and the first image data is equal to or less than a second threshold value.
Abstract: The image processing apparatus includes: a color conversion unit color-converting an image signal of a first color space into that of a second color space by using a color conversion characteristic defining a correspondence relationship between the image signals of the first and second color spaces; an adjustment unit adjusting the image signal of the second color space, in accordance with a change in the color conversion characteristic; a correction unit correcting a conversion factor group for adjustment used when the image signal of the second color space is adjusted; and a judgment unit judging whether the conversion factor group needs to be corrected, on the basis of a color measurement result of a second color sample group including color samples the number of which is smaller than that of color samples in a first color sample group on which color measurement is performed to create the conversion factor group.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a resolution conversion unit that integrates n pixels that are contiguous in the sub-scanning direction, and that determines an average value of pixel values of the n pixels as a pixel value of integrated pixels, a quantization unit that quantizes the pixel value of the integrated pixels to N levels, an image analysis unit that performs first determination processing for determining whether the difference between the pixel values of the n input pixels exceeds a threshold value set in advance, and second determination processing for determining whether a direction in which the pixel values of the n input pixels becomes greater is a forward direction of the sub-scanning direction or an opposite direction, and a pixel selection unit that determines n output pixels, based on the results, from a quantization result of the integrated pixels.
