Abstract: An outerwear garment with a concealed stretch back layer disclosed that improves a wearer's range of motion, while maintaining the integrity and function of the outerwear garment. The outerwear garment comprises an outer shell layer, an exterior layer action back, arm sleeve panel and an action back lining. The exterior layer action back is integrated into the back portion of the outer shell layer. The arm sleeve panel is attached to the outer shell layer at least at the front portion and the back portion of the outer shell layer. The action back lining comprises a concealed stretch back layer that is discrete from the outer shell layer and positioned in the back portion of the outer shell layer. The concealed stretch back layer comprises a stretch panel and a shell panel joined together and to the outer shell layer.

Abstract: An ambidextrous glove for facilitating accurate tactility and dexterity on the distal finger pad tips. The glove has finger tip inserts facilitating tactile sensitivity. The inserts are located between the finger tips and first joint on both sides of at least the thumb, index finger, and middle finger. Optionally, the glove is turned inside out. Holes are cut in both sides of the finger tip. The inserts are adhered to the finger tip to cover the holes. If the glove was turned inside out, it is turned outside out.

Abstract: A face shield assembly for use with a hard hat to protect a user from injury caused by an arc-flash event. Ventilation slots are provided at the sides of the assembly below an apparatus used for connecting the face shield assembly to a hard hat. Alternatively, lower front ventilation slots are provided, which also improve voice communication by the user. The face shield assembly can have either side or front ventilation slots, or both.

Abstract: A helmet liner adapted to be conformed to an inner surface of a helmet to cushion in use the rear of a wearers head from the helmet is described. The liner comprises a plurality of elongate grooves comprising at least one longitudinal groove configured to extend in use along a longitudinal direction between the nape of a wearers neck and the crown of the wearers head, and at least one lateral groove adapted to extend in use at least partially around the head of the wearer in a lateral direction between the wearers ears. The at least one longitudinal groove is deeper than the at least one lateral groove.

Abstract: A method of tufting carpet using multiple yarns directed through at least one single needle, if not a plurality of such situations, whereby the needles tuft a carpet having unique specifications. Specifically, the yarns are pre-twisted together, and can be solution dyed and/or of have different twist characteristics, such as selected from the group of high twist, standard twist, low twist, no twist, flat yarns and/or pre-twisted flat yarns.

Abstract: A goggle lens is revealed. The goggle lens includes a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a protective film connected to either the first surface or the second surface. The protective layer is a multi-layer structure formed by a silica composite film layer, a first zirconium dioxide film layer, a first silica film layer, an indium tin oxide (ITO) film layer, a second zirconium dioxide film layer and a second silica film layer in turn. Thereby harmful light such as blue light, infrared light, etc. is blocked by the protective film and ultraviolet light is also absorbed by the protective film for protecting user's eyes from damages.

Abstract: A sun protective headwear system is provided. The sun protective headwear system may include a headwear having a body and brim portion with a novel sun protective inner lining. The inner lining may incorporate recycled water bottles to achieve advantageous sun protective properties. A closure mechanism may be provided along a rear body portion, near a tensive brim seam joining the brim portion to the body portion, so that in a closed condition the closure mechanism maintains the shape of the headwear while adjusting its fitting so as to be suitable across a wide range of head sizes. The sun protective headwear system may also include a packable pouch dimensioned and adapted to be crushably folded when the packable pouch houses the headwear.

Abstract: A pocket insert card is received within a pocket of a garment. A moisture absorbent or moisture wicking fabric sheet is attached to the card such that the sheet can be situated outside the pocket for cleaning purposes while the card remains in the pocket. The fabric sheet may be elongated and folded in face-to-face portions attached to the card. A hook and loop patch may support an object on the fabric sheet. A holder for a spare golf tee or pencil is provided, as is a retainer for a scorecard. The fabric sheet may be inserted into the pocket or may form the pocket body itself. The fabric sheet may also be used without the pocket, attached directly to the interior of a garment. A double sided snap may be used to mount a ball marker to the fabric sheet.

Abstract: A nursing apparatus is configured to hold a garment in a gathered position to expose a breast for nursing. The apparatus has a strap with a first end and a second end. A fastener is disposed at the first end and is configured to connect the first end to a piece of clothing of the wearer. The fastener has a body portion attached to the strap and a movable part. A ring is disposed at the second end of the strap and configured to retain the strap in a closed loop shape to hold the garment in the gathered position. A method includes manufacturing the strap with the fastener at the first end and the ring positioned at the second end of the strap. The method includes instructing the wearer to lift the garment to form a gathered portion of the garment, form a loop shape with the strap around the gathered portion, and utilize the ring to retain the strap in the loop shape to hold the gathered portion in a fixed position relative to the wearer to expose a breast for nursing.

Abstract: A video recording device and holster are disclosed to reliably and covertly start and stop capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may include a plurality of holes through which defined commands can be executed using a touch-screen interface or other control devices. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.
