  • Patent number: 7077358
Abstract: A helicopter having a torque-correcting thruster device. The helicopter has an aerodynamic body which has opposite side portions, a top portion and a bottom portion. The aerodynamic body has a cockpit and a pilot seat in the cockpit. The helicopter includes landing gear attached to the bottom portion of the aerodynamic body. The helicopter includes a rotor that is supported by the aerodynamic body and a rotor blade attached to the rotor, and a thruster device operative on one of the side portions of the aerodynamic body to produce an aft-directed thrust that counteracts the torque produced by rotation of the rotor blade so as to control the yaw of the helicopter. The aft-directed thrust simultaneously supplements the forward thrust of the helicopter.

  • Patent number: 7073313
Abstract: A stirrup extending device includes a frame slidable in a housing and having a stirrup attachment bar outside of the housing. The frame can be slid partially into the housing to move the stirrup attachment bar toward the housing to a retracted position and partially out of the housing to move the stirrup attachment bar away from the housing to an extended position. The housing is mounted in the normal saddle stirrup strap loop with the stirrup attachment bar extending below the stirrup strap loop. A stirrup is mounted to the stirrup attachment bar with appropriate mounting brackets to provide a nonrotatable connection, a partially rotatable connection, or a fully rotatable connection not available in prior art stirrup extenders, where the stirrup is free to rotate with respect to the stirrup attachment bar. The frame can be made as a single piece and assembled as a single piece into the housing as two housing sections are brought together to form the housing.

  • Patent number: 7062878
Abstract: An audio fishing lure system for attracting fish using preselected audio content includes a fishing pole, a fishing line, a lure or hook, an audio source, an aural encoder, and an underwater transducer. Sound reproduced by the audio source, such as a radio, cassette player, or digital playback device, is electrically communicated to the encoder, which correspondingly generates sound waves that modulate the fishing line. The fishing line is optimized to serve as a transmission line. The audio information propagates along the fishing line, into the water, and to the transducer, where the mechanical waves are transformed to sound waves and transmitted into the water, thereby delivering sound to the region about the bait and attracting fish responsive to such content.

  • Patent number: 7063043
Abstract: A milk flow device which includes a conduit for transporting a substantially continuous milk flow varying in height up to a maximum height wherein the maximum height is less than a fluid height which would occlude the conduit and interrupt the vacuum level is shown. A first sensor determines the height of a selected section of the substantially continuous milk flow. The first sensor has a predetermined cross-sectional area and defines an opening for passing a milk flow therethrough. The first sensor is located at a predetermined location in the conduit. A second sensor having a cross-sectional area substantially equal to the cross sectional area of the first sensor is spaced within the conduit in a selected direction and a known distance from the first sensor. The second sensor determines that the selected section of the continuous milk flow has traversed the known distance. A conductivity sensor measures the conductivity of the milk.

  • Patent number: 7059272
Abstract: A collapsible/expandable pet litter box includes a disposable compact box assembly having a base, a removable lid covering the base, and internally folded flaps connected to the base. The flaps are capable of being unfolded and extended upwardly from the base so as to substantially surround the base and cooperatively form, with the base, a box having sidewalls. One of the sidewalls forms a pet entry and exit aperture. Pet litter is encased within the base of the box. To construct the pet litter box, a first flap is unfolded into an upright position so that a side panel thereof forms a first lateral sidewall. Next, a second flap is unfolded into an upright position so that a side panel thereof forms a second lateral sidewall generally opposite the first lateral sidewall. Then rear panels of the first and second flaps are unfolded towards one another to form a rear sidewall. Front panels of the first and second flaps are unfolded towards one another to form a front sidewall and the pet entry and exit aperture.

  • Patent number: 7059566
Abstract: A hollow elliptical-cylindrical hull conformingly houses a hollow rectangular-prismatic cabin whereby the four longitudinal parallel outside edges of the latter make contact with the inside surface of the former. The fully constructed aircraft (either non-powered or powered) includes the integral hull-plus-cabin structure along with nose, tail and airfoil structures that are coupled therewith. The cabin conformingly accommodates hollow rectangular-prismatic modules useful for cargo storage. While the nose and/or tail structure is uncoupled from the integral hull-plus-cabin structure, the modules are inserted into the cabin and the cabin is sealed. The aircraft is lifted (e.g., via airplane, helicopter, rocket or balloon) to a particular elevation and released, whereupon the two wings fully emerge and the aircraft effects controlled flight until reaching its destination.
