Abstract: A display device for executing a plurality of applications and a method for controlling the display device are provided. The method includes displaying a plurality of windows in which applications are executed respectively, receiving an iconize input for executing the plurality of windows, checking window information about each of the plurality of windows and discontinuing the displaying of the plurality of windows, and generating a shortcut icon for executing the plurality of windows simultaneously, based on the checked window information.

Abstract: A tandem-wing unmanned aircraft system (UAS) includes forward and aft wings mounted to the fuselage by frangible spar elements, the forward wings in a shoulder-wing configuration and the aft wings in a low-wing configuration. The forward and aft wings may incorporate fill-span multifunctional control surfaces on their trailing edges. The wing design prevents interference with airflow over the fuselage into a tail-mounted ducted propeller assembly, which pivots to provide vectored thrust. A nose compartment at the nose end of the fuselage may include a forward-mounted camera with a hemispherical field of view, the nose camera protected by transparent exterior panels. A ventral cargo compartment mounted amidships may include a ventral camera gimbal-mounted to provide an overhead perspective; the ventral camera may be gimbal-mounted for articulation along multiple rotational axes to provide additional views of the UAS exterior.

Abstract: A system and method for anticipatory contextual notifications are provided. In example embodiments, a context indication corresponding to a user that is a member of a social network service is received. The context indication is indicative of a real-time context of the user. The context indication is analyzed to determine that the context indication is a significant context indication. An entity associated with the significant context indication and that is a member of the social network service is identified. Member data associated with the identified entity and the user is accessed. Notification context is generated based, at least in part, on an analysis of the significant context indication and the member data. Presentation, to the user, of a notification that includes the notification context is caused.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are technologies for a WYSIWYG user interface (UI) design tool that enables runtime behaviors (e.g., content update and user interaction) with UI controls during design time of such controls. That is, using a UI design tool in accordance with the technology described herein, the human designer can see and experience the runtime behavior of the UI controls while designing those controls. Abstract: In one set of embodiments, methods, systems, and apparatus are provided that include presenting, by a computer system, a task flow in a popup component of an application user interface executing in a user interface layer, where the task flow executes in an application layer of the computer system, and also include communicating, by the computer system, a first notification from the application layer to the user interface layer in response to normal completion of the task flow, and updating, e.g., closing, the component in the application user interface based upon the first notification. A second notification may be communicated from the user interface layer to the application layer in response to a user interface event that is associated with the popup component and causes an abnormal termination of the task flow. Presenting may include displaying the task flow in a region component in the popup component.

Abstract: A systems and method for capturing, predicting and suggesting user preferences in a huddle collaboration environment is disclosed. The disclosed method may store user interaction between different modules of the huddle collaboration environment in the database. A data processing module may then compare the data from a single user or from different users in order to determine patterns or similarities which may indicate a preference to specific configurations on the system. The system may then suggest configuration according to the needs or preferences of the user or apply them automatically to the huddle collaboration environment.

Abstract: A media recommendation system may score media items according to user recommendations, popularity, and/or recency. The scores may be weighted to produce an overall score for each media item. Media items may be added to a pool for a specific user, from which media items are selected for playback. The contents of the pool may be modified based upon user feedback and other data. The pool may be modified dynamically and/or in real time as media items are consumed or rated by the user.

Abstract: An input method is provided by embodiments of the present invention, relating to the communications field, and invented to improve the input experience of a user. The input method includes: providing an input interface on a touch display screen, where the input interface includes a virtual soft keyboard distributed in a sector area around a lower left corner or lower right corner of the input interface; receiving an input instruction which is input by a user through the virtual soft keyboard; and displaying input information corresponding to the input instruction. Abstract: Mechanisms are provided to implement a relation network visualization and interaction engine that is configured to generate an extended adjacency matrix representation of a relation network. The mechanisms create a relation network data structure, and generate an adjacency matrix graphical representation of the relation network based on analysis of the relation network data structure. The mechanisms extend the adjacency matrix graphical representation by adding an interactive indirect relation glyph, for an indirect relation in the relation network, to the adjacency matrix graphical representation in association with representations of a source entity and a target entity that correspond to the indirect relation, to thereby generate an extended adjacency matrix graphical representation. The mechanisms output the extended adjacency matrix graphical representation in a visual manner on a computing device.

Abstract: Methods and devices for providing a virtual keyboard in connection with a multiple screen device are provided. More particularly, information displayed on the screen of a multiple screen device having a current focus of the user is identified, and is presented by a top screen. The virtual keyboard is presented by the bottom screen. The virtual keyboard can be dismissed in response to detecting a change in the focus of the user.
