Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a container and a coupler adapted to receive and connect with the container. The coupler comprises a body that defines an internal passage adapted to deliver fluid to an interior space of the container, and a supply passage that is in fluid communication with the internal passage such that fluid can be delivered to the internal passage through the supply passage, and a locking member that is adapted to engage a locking groove of the container so as to securely hold the container in place within the coupler.

Abstract: A pushbutton for actuating a dispenser member, the dispenser member having a moving element that is movable between two positions, the pushbutton having a base, a head defining both a bearing surface for a user and a dispensing orifice, and an elastically-deformable portion interconnecting the base and the head, the head being suitable for being secured to the moving element. The elastically-deformable portion is arranged so as to deform in the sense of rolling onto itself when the head is depressed and is suitable for returning the moving element into an initial position by resilient return.

Abstract: A valve apparatus utilizes a biased flap and air hole to regulate the flow of a fluid from the orifice of a container. The biased flap progressively opens in response to increasing fluid pressure upon the flap. An additional air hole is preferably used to permit air to continuously enter the container while fluid is discharged. A substantially smoother pouring response is achieved.

Abstract: An oil can structure comprises an upper cover, a lock head, a jetting seat, a body, a lower seat, a piston, a sliding barrel and a rotary seat. Thereby, the oil can is operated easily and conveniently with less power and labor hour. The body receiving high pressure air and oil has an outer thread and an inner thread at the upper and lower inner side thereof. The outer thread has a jetting seat with a tube. The jetting seat has a jetting hole for jetting oil and air. Moreover, a lock head is installed at an outer cover of the jetting seat; the locking head has an inner thread for being screwedly engaged with the outer thread at the upper side of the body. A lower seat with an O ring, an outer thread, and an elastic hook is installed at the body. A post with vent and enclosed by a plastic cover is installed at the center of the lower seat. An inner barrel and strips are formed at the lower inner side and lateral side thereof. A sliding barrel with a positioning groove is installed within the inner barrel.

Abstract: A device for dispensing a fluid substance contained in a container (1) provided with an opening has an element (2) that is movable between a rest position in which it closes the opening of the container (1) and an actuated position, a connection between the inside of the container and an expulsion channel (10) for expelling the substance, and an actuator member (6) for moving the element towards its actuated position. The element slides in a sealed manner inside the container so that the substance is expelled via the expulsion channel. The element includes a sealing ball (5) which, in the rest position of the element, cooperates with the element to increase interference between the element and the container, thereby guaranteeing total hermetic closure of the container.

Abstract: A container for handling bulk flowable products including a housing having opposed first and second end walls and opposed first and second side walls, a partition in the housing dividing it into first and second compartments, an outlet for each compartment respectively adjacent to opposite ends of the housing; and closures for the outlets. The partition is sloped toward each outlet so that when its closure is opened, the product in the corresponding compartment flows through the outlet and is dispensed. In effect, the container is comprised of two, back-to-back, funnel-shaped compartments that are inverted relative to each, with outlets from the compartments adjacent to the respective throats of compartments.

Abstract: In a dispensing device for a fluid container of flexible material in an outer container which encloses it and which is substantially stable in respect of shape and through which the dispensing device extends, a tube connection of the dispensing device is fluid-tightly and gas-tightly connected to the wall of the fluid container in the region of a wall opening, by a flange collar formed on the tubular portion. Associated with the tube connection is a separate closure body which in the closure position closes the cross-section of the tube space and which is to be releasably fixed to the free tube mouth end of a connection tube which can be axially introduced into the tube space. The closure body can be transferred with the connection tube out of the closure position into an open position in which the closure body at the tube mouth end and at least one radial opening through the tube wall of the tube mouth end are arranged in the fluid container.

Abstract: A grout dispensing system that includes an injector having a number of user selectable dispensing nozzles that allow an individual to select a desired dispensing opening diameter for a particular job and which includes a piston/plunger for forcing grout out of the nozzle under pressure into the gap between tiles to ensure that a proper amount of grout is within the gap. The injector includes a hand grip assembly that is gripped by a user with one hand while simultaneously pushing the plunger/piston into the injector cylinder.

Abstract: A dispensing pump coupled with a container has a pump body having an end coupled with a button cap. The button cap has a spray nozzle and a pump chamber that contains fluid to be dispensed through the spray nozzle. Inside the pump body is a plunger, a stationary tube with fingers, a biasing member, and a duckbill valve with a slit. When the plunger is in an extended position, the fingers act against the plunger to close the slit of the duckbill valve. As the button cap is depressed, the plunger translates to a depressed position thereby allowing the fingers to spread apart from the duckbill valve and open up the slit such that fluid from the container can fill up the pump chamber. The biasing member urges the plunger back to the extended position, thereby urging the opposed fingers to return to the closed position.

Abstract: A frame for a portable sprayer having an interlocking joint for securing sections of a frame on opposite sides of a tank. The interlocking joint facilitates attachment and detachment of tanks with respect to the frame, as well as securing a telescopic handle relative to the frame. An extension rib prevents the tank from tipping-over.

Abstract: A dispensing head for a container is disclosed. The dispensing head includes a portion defining at least one opening on the dispensing head for permitting dispensing of a product via the opening. A valve is configured to limit direct flow of air into the container via the opening and to permit dispensing of the product via the opening. The dispensing head further includes porous material impervious to the product and capable of allowing passage of air into the container via the porous material. The porous material is at least partially exposed on an exterior surface of the dispensing head. In addition, part of the valve is formed of the porous material and the porous material at least partially defines the opening on the dispensing head. Also disclosed is a dispenser including the dispensing head and a container containing the product. The dispensing head is provided on the container.

Abstract: A spout attachment for attachment to the mouth of a bottle for aiding the smooth flow of fluid from the bottle. The spout attachment includes a tube designed for inserting into a bottle such that a bottom end of the tube is extended into the bottle and a top end of the tube is positioned adjacent a mouth of the bottle. A generally cylindrical mounting sleeve is provided having open upper and lower ends, and spaced apart inner and outer walls extending between the upper and lower ends of the mounting sleeve. The inner and outer walls 28,29 of the mounting sleeve define an annular channel therebetween opening at the lower end of the mounting sleeve. The annular channel is designed for receiving a neck of a bottle therein such that the inner wall of the mounting sleeve is inserted into the mouth of the bottle and the outer wall of the mounting sleeve is disposed around the neck of the bottle.

Abstract: The apparatus of the invention can be used to deter attack by an assailant such as a person or animal. The apparatus includes a ring defining a cavity and a spray orifice communicating with the cavity. The apparatus also includes a canister removably fitted to the ring in the cavity, and a repellent substance contained in the canister under relatively high pressure relative to ambient. The canister defines a spray orifice, and has a valve stem movable to discharge the pressurized repellent substance from the canister and ring through respective aligned spray orifices defined therein. The apparatus also includes a safety movably mounted to the ring. The safety can be moved to a first position that blocks the valve stem to prevent movement of the valve stem so that accidental discharge of pressurized repellent substance from the canister is prevented.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining Brix utilizing a liquid sugar or syrup and a water or water based liquid stream. The apparatus includes a conduit for the water, a conduit for the sugar syrup, and a third conduit connected to the first and second conduits for use as a mixture stream of the syrup and the water. Pressure is applied to the sugar syrup in the first conduit and the water in the second conduit. The pressure of the water in the second conduit is predetermined to equal or lie at a greater value than the pressure applied to the sugar in the first conduit. A regulating mechanism is found in the third conduit for setting a value of the Brix of the mixture stream, detecting the actual Brix concentration, and a valve adjustment to the water stream responsive to a differential between the actual and set values of Brix in the mixture stream.

Abstract: An assembly for packaging and pressurized dispensing of a product, particularly a cosmetic, including a first container which is surmounted by a first valve capable of moving from a closed position to an open position for dispensing the product, and which defines two compartments which are separated in a leaktight manner by a movable piston. The first compartment contains the product and the second compartment receives a propellent gas capable of pressurizing the product via the movable piston. When the valve is in a closed position, the second compartment is substantially at atmospheric pressure.

Abstract: A lockable actuator assembly comprising a base assembly defining an axial through bore. An actuator is accommodated within the through bore and is pivotably supported by the base assembly in a cantilevered fashion. The actuator has an inlet communicating with a discharged outlet via a central bore and a radial bore. A base portion of the base assembly has a plurality of ribs to facilitate engagement with an exterior surface of a mounting cap. An opposed top portion of the base assembly has a plurality of outwardly facing protrusions which facilitate engagement with an annular elongate member, rib or recess of an over cap to rotatably secure the over cap to the base assembly. The over cap is provided with a cutout to facilitate rotation of the over cap relative to the base assembly.

Abstract: The invented apparatus is useful for generating a spray of repellent to ward off an attack by a person or animal. The apparatus includes a canister that contains pressurized repellent such as mace, pepper spray or tear gas. The canister is relatively small, generally four centimeters or less in its largest dimension, so that the canister can be readily concealed. The canister can include a clip that allows the canister to be attached to an article worn or carried by the user. The apparatus can further include a ring that can be worn on a digit of the user's hand, and into which the canister can be inserted. Whether used with or without the ring, the canister can be discharged to ward off an assailant.

Abstract: A device for facilitating easier operation of a spigot having a body portion, a reciprocatable portion which is linearly movable with respect to the spigot body portion between an open position and a closed position to regulate fluid flow through the spigot, and a spring member urging the reciprocatable portion to the closed position, includes a mount member which is configured to be removably attachable to a portion of the spigot and an actuator member connected to the mount member. The actuator member is movable with respect to the mount member between a first location in which the actuator member, when attached to the spigot, urges the reciprocatable portion of the spigot to the open position to allow fluid to flow through the spigot, and a second location in which the actuator member, when attached to the spigot, allows the spring member of the spigot to urge the reciprocatable portion of the spigot to the closed position to prevent fluid from flowing through the spigot.
