  • Patent number: 11495265
Abstract: Techniques are described for pre-exporting chunks of video content during video editing of a video editing project. For example, the chunks of the video editing project can be monitored for changes. When a change is detected to a chunk, the chunk can be pre-exported as an independent chunk that is combinable with other pre-exported chunks and without encoding or re-encoding the pre-exported chunks. In addition, the monitoring and pre-exporting can be performed while the video editing project is editable by a user of the video editing project. When the video editing project is ready to be finalized, the pre-exported chunks can be combined to generate, at least in part, a media file. The generated media file can then be output.

  • Patent number: 11482318
Abstract: An examination image storage stores a plurality of examination images having image-capturing time information. A voice processing unit extracts information regarding a finding by recognizing voice that is input to a microphone, and an extracted information storage stores the extracted information regarding the finding and voice time information in association with each other. A grouping processing unit groups a plurality of examination images into one or more image groups based on the image-capturing time information. An association processing unit associates the information regarding the finding stored in the extracted information storage with an image group based on the voice time information. When one examination image is selected by a user, a finding selection screen generation unit generates a screen that displays information regarding a finding associated with an image group including the examination image that is selected.

  • Patent number: 11477411
Abstract: A method to capture microscopy images from multiple image sensors and to relay them to one or more central processing units while minimizing delay in image capture can include the co-optimization of image acquisition hardware, data aggregation digital logic, firmware, and integration with data post processing on the central processing units. The methods can include organizing the incoming image data into data packets containing partial image frames, together with configuring the central processing units to be capable of analyzing the received partial image frames. The quick analysis of the images, e.g., on the partial image frames, can allow the computational system to rapidly respond to the captured images, such as to provide feed back on the captured images before the next images are to be captured.

  • Patent number: 11470250
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for shear correction in spherical projections. Embedded devices generally lack the compute and/or memory resources to implement two-dimensional (2D) stitches for spherical projections. Objects (such as a mounting fixture) within a certain distance of the camera may experience a 2D “tear” or “shear” artifact when stitched. Various embodiments of the present disclosure perform two orthogonal 1D stitches: (i) latitudinally across the meridian and (ii) longitudinally along the meridian to approximate the effect of a 2D stitch. Notably, the 1D stitch may be less precise than a true 2D stitch, however the image portion being stitched (e.g., the camera mount) is not the user's subject of interest and can be rendered much more loosely without adverse consequence. Temporal smoothing optimizations are additionally disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11468915
Abstract: In various examples, users may access a tool that automatically generates video montages from video clips of the user's gameplay according to parameterized recipes. As a result, a user may select—or allow the system to select—clips corresponding to gameplay of the user and customize one or more parameters (e.g., transitions, music, audio, graphics, etc.) of a recipe, and a video montage may be generated automatically according to a montage script output using the recipe. As such, a user may have a video montage generated with little user involvement, and without requiring any skill or expertise in video editing software. In addition, even for experienced video editors, automatic video montage generation may be a useful alternative to save the time and effort of manually curating video montages.
