An interlayer resin film is formed on a drain electrode, with a hole being formed on the interlayer resin film, and on the drain electrode exposed to a bottom portion of the hole, an island-shaped electrode is formed separately from a lower electrode. Moreover, on the island-shaped electrode, an inter-electrode insulating film is formed, a contact hole is formed in the inter-electrode insulating film, and an upper electrode is formed on the island-shaped electrode exposed to a bottom portion of the contact hole.

When the hole is viewed on a plane, a shortest distance from the hole to the hole is four micrometers or greater and 12 micrometers or less at a height of h1=0.9×h2 from a bottom face of the hole, where a depth of the hole is defined as h2.

    Abstract: Provided are a liquid crystal display panel, and a composite substrate and a method for fabricating the composite substrate. The composite substrate includes: a substrate, a carbon nanotube layer and a photoalignment matrix material. The carbon nanotube layer is adhered to a surface of the substrate with the photoalignment matrix material; the carbon nanotube layer includes multiple carbon nanotubes extending in a same direction. Multiple grooves arranged in parallel may be formed between carbon nanotubes since the extending direction of the carbon nanotube is the same, and the groove may be used for an initial alignment of liquid crystal molecules, hence the carbon nanotube layer may serve as an alignment layer. In addition, the carbon nanotube has a polarizing feature to serve as a polarizing layer. Therefore, the composite substrate may serve as both the alignment layer and the polarizing layer.

This configuration can suppress the occurrence of moire.
