Abstract: A connector including a plug configured to mechanically mate with a socket to establish a connection from a first conduit to a second conduit. The plug is configured to mechanically engage the first conduit and the socket is configured to mechanically engage the second conduit. In examples, the plug is configured to insert into a socket well of the socket. The connector includes an electromagnet configured to energize and produce a magnetic field when the plug mechanically mates with the socket. The electromagnet is configured such that the magnetic field generates an electromagnetic force on a plug armature of the plug to help sustain the mechanically mating of the plug and the socket. The connector may include a user device configured to provide an output indicating when the plug is mechanically mated or unmated with the socket.

Abstract: A connector assembly enables electrically safe disconnection and separation because it is possible to secure an interval between the point of time of separation of interlock terminals and the point of time of separation of power terminals when connectors are separated. The connector assembly can implement two steps of cutting power after restricting a lever in a locked state and then completely disconnecting connectors by additionally operating the lever by including an intermediate locking mechanism that restricts the lever for disconnecting connectors in a state in which interlock terminals of two connectors are separated from each other but power terminals of the two connectors are in contact with each other to disconnect and separate female and male connectors.

Abstract: An electrical connector has a connector housing, a securing element and an actuating element movable between a home position and a locking position and which is designed to lock the electrical connector with a corresponding electrical counterpart connector. The connector housing has a locking guide for guiding the securing element between an initial position, and a securing position, wherein the securing element engages with the actuating element so that the actuating element is locked in the locking position. The securing element has a latching tab and the locking guide has a first stop for the latching tab to block the securing element in the initial position. The actuating element has a releasing body which penetrates into a recess in the locking guide to displace the latching tab of the securing element, to release the securing element.

Abstract: A mounting bracket for an electronic device is provided. The mounting bracket includes a first mounting member and a second mounting member. The first mounting member is configured to detachably accommodate a body of the electronic device and limit a position of the body. The second mounting member is configured to detachably accommodate an adaptor of the electronic device and limit a position of the adaptor. The first mounting member is fixedly connected to the second mounting member.

Abstract: A connector configured to be fitted with a mating connector includes a main housing, a sub-housing supported on the main housing to be slidable in a fitting direction with respect to the main housing in which the connector is fitted with the mating connector, and an operating member pivotably and slidably supported on the main housing. The main housing moves closer to the mating connector when the operating member is pivoted from a first posture to a second posture. The sub-housing moves in the fitting direction when the operating member slides from the second posture in a direction different from the fitting direction. The sub-housing has an erroneous fitting prevention part abutting against the mating connector in a state of incomplete fitting of the connector with the mating connector.

Abstract: A family of connectors to accommodate a single twisted pair of conductors is disclosed herein. The family of connectors includes a free connector, a fixed connector, and an adapter; the free and/or fixed connectors can be modified to accommodate the adapter configuration and/or modified to accommodate various patch cord configurations. In certain embodiments, the one or more of the family of connectors adopts an LC fiber optic style connector configuration and an LC fiber optic footprint configuration. In certain examples, one or more of the family of connectors adopts an LC fiber optic style connector configuration but in a footprint that is larger or smaller than the footprint of the LC fiber optic footprint. Other configurations may also be adopted.

Abstract: A device for the electrification of furniture includes at least a first furniture panel, which has, in one of its two panel sides, two parallel grooves and two exposed busbars laid respectively in the two grooves and at least one electric plug for connecting to the two busbars. The plug has two electrical contacts, which are formed as exposed collector contacts on a connecting side of the plug housing and as connection contacts on a front side of the plug housing. The plug is inserted into a bore, interrupting the two grooves, in the one panel side of the first furniture panel. The collector contacts each lie against the two busbars in an electrically conductive manner.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly includes a receptacle connector disposed in a wearable machine and equipped with one row contacts and a set of magnets, and a cable connector equipped with two rows of contacts and another set of magnets so as to be mated with the receptacle connector in a flippable manner wherein the interface between the receptacle connector and the cable connector is of a stadium configuration, and the set of magnets are located at two opposite halves of the long sides of the stadium configuration in the diagonal direction.

Abstract: A sealed electrical connector assembly includes a first and second connector member. The first connector member is arrangeable in open and sealed positions. In the sealed position, the first connector member is mated and sealed to the second connector member. The first and second connector member sealing walls face each other in a sealing region. The first and second connector members includes first and second connector member sealing walls extending essentially the same direction. In the sealed position, a flexible sealing element is configured to be arranged between and contacting the first and second connector member sealing walls in the sealing region. The flexible sealing element is fixed with respect to one of the sealing walls and is releasably engageable with another one of the sealing walls for providing a watertight seal. The sealing wall is slanted with respect to the first direction along an entire sealing region.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an adaptor, comprising an adapting bracket, an adapting member, and at least one locking component. The adapting bracket comprises a chute comprising two opposite sidewalls and a bottom wall. The bottom wall is disposed between the two sidewalls. The adapting member is disposed on the adapting bracket. The adapting member comprises an adapting interface and is in communicating with the chute. The at least one locking component is disposed in the adapting bracket. Each of the locking components comprises a locking member movably extending into the chute. When an electronic component is inserted in the chute, a mating interface of the electronic component is connected to the adapting interface, and the locking member is inserted into an engaging groove of the electronic component. By protecting the electronic component with the adapting bracket, it is possible to avoid damage to the electronic component from impacts.

Abstract: A cartridge is selectively usable with a personal vaporizer. The cartridge may include a chamber for holding a vaporizing medium such as a liquid solution. The cartridge may also include an atomizer that can be manufactured as a unit with the chamber. The cartridge can be attached to a vaporizer structure such as a battery assembly. A cartridge cover fits over and encloses the cartridge therewithin. The cartridge cover can employ decorative aspects that match or complement decorative aspects of the battery assembly.

The apparatus comprises a base configured to receive the object, the base comprising a mounting surface and a docking surface. A docking connector is coupled to the docking surface and is configured to electrically connect with the one or more electrical contacts of the object. The docking connector is movable relative to the docking surface between a first position and a second position. When the docking connector is electrically connected with the one or more electrical contacts of the object, a second main surface of the object is positioned obliquely relative to the mounting surface in the first position of the docking connector and the second main surface of the object is aligned in contact with the mounting surface in the second position of the docking connector.

Abstract: A structure for preventing a connector from being detached from an electronic component of a vehicle is provided. The structure includes a fixing clip member fixing the connector to a connector inserting groove. The fixing clip member includes a first stopper acting as a hanging jaw so that the fixing clip member is not detached from the connector inserting groove in a state which is mounted in a mounting groove formed in the connector inserting groove, in a process of inserting the fixing clip member to be inserted into the connector inserting groove and a second stopper mounted in a stopper hanging groove formed in a front end portion of the connector to act as a hanging jaw fixing the connector so that the connector is not detached from the connector inserting groove, in a process of inserting the connector into the connector inserting groove.

Abstract: An electrical connector for connection to a complementary mating connector includes a housing having at least one socket and at least one contact assembly which is disposed at least partially within the socket. A fastening element secures the contact assembly within the socket. A secondary retention means is movable between a pre-latched position and a final latched position, and, in the final latched position, prevents the fastening element from releasing securement of the contact assembly in the socket. The housing has a fastening groove extending along the socket at least along a portion of its length for securing the secondary retention means. In the final latched position, the secondary retention means engages by at least one latching element in the fastening groove.

Abstract: A wire harness includes a connector and a grommet. The connector includes an inner member having an annular plate-shaped flange. The inner member includes a first divided inner part, a second divided inner part, a deformable hinge that connects one end of the first divided inner part and one end of the second divided inner part to each other, and a lock portion that is formed on a fitting portion between the other end of the first divided inner part and the other end of the second divided inner part. The lock portion is formed on a portion where the other end of the first divided inner part and the other end of the second divided inner part are fitted to each other by sliding movement in accordance with a twisting of the hinge about a first axis.

Abstract: A connector position assurance device (CPA) cooperated with a plug connector to ensure a latch of the plug connector located in a releasing state or a blocked state, includes a base including a downwardly deflectable center arm and a pair of sidewardly deflectable side arms enclosing the center arm in a transverse direction. The bottom surface of the center arm have an engagement protrusion, each side arms have an engagement protrusion which protruding in a transverse direction. The CPA is maintained in a front blocked position or a rear releasing position in the connector to ensure the latch blocked or released.

The housing includes a guide member engaging a guide feature of a mobile device to locate a receiver power connector relative to the supply power connector. The supply charging device includes a retaining plate securing the housing to the panel. The supply charging device includes a mounting spring extending from the housing and received in the panel cutout. The mounting spring engages the panel to allow the supply power connector to float relative to the panel within the panel cutout for aligning the mating end of the supply power connector with the receiver power connector.

Abstract: A locking device adapted to lock a shell to an installation body includes a thread connection member extending through a connecting hole in the shell and engaging a threaded hole in the installation body, a sealing ring sleeved on the thread connection member and adapted to be pressed on an installation surface of the shell to seal the connecting hole of the shell, and a gasket sleeved on the thread connection member and adapted to be pressed between the thread connection member and the sealing ring to prevent the thread connection member from being loosened. The gasket has a pair of stopping arms. An angle defined between the stopping arms is greater than 0 degrees and less than 180 degrees. A pair of top ends of the stopping arms are adapted to simultaneously abut against an outer wall of the shell to prevent the gasket from rotating with the thread connection member.
