  • Patent number: 11928619
Abstract: A vehicle dispatch service boarding location determination method uses a vehicle dispatch information data server and a terminal to determine a boarding location for a dispatched vehicle based on a vehicle dispatch request from the terminal. When there is a vehicle dispatch request, position information of a vehicle dispatch request point is acquired. Boarding location candidates present in a periphery of the vehicle dispatch request point are calculated based on the position information point and map information. A boarding location recognition difficulty, which is a difficulty for the user in recognizing the boarding location candidate as a boarding location, is calculated for each of the boarding location candidates. A boarding location candidate for which the boarding location recognition difficulty is low among the boarding location candidates is determined as the boarding location where the user will be picked up by the dispatched vehicle.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes computer implemented techniques for providing a survey to a user. In one embodiment, a software application receives an audio stream including utterances spoken by the user interacting with a voice-user interface of the application. The application then determines a set of paralinguistic features from the audio stream and estimates at least a first attribute of the user based on the set of paralinguistic features. The application selects survey content based on a value of the first attribute and transmits a survey including the selected survey content to the user.

  • Patent number: 11775937
Abstract: A system and method for workforce scheduling using dynamic capacity ranges are provided. A capacity model associates distances of locations within a service area from a depot with a series of appointment time windows such that appointment time windows having a relatively greater amount of available worker capacity are associated with a greater range of distances than appointment time windows having a relatively smaller amount of available worker capacity. After a distance from the depot to a location of an appointment to be scheduled is determined, appointment time window suggestions are automatically produced based on which appointment time windows as defined in the capacity model are associated with the location of the appointment to be scheduled. As capacity changes due to bookings, the capacity model is dynamically updated. A system and method for workforce routing, based at least in part on using dynamic capacity ranges, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 11562320
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for maximizing saturation of two different sets of actors performing different sets of dependent operations at different rates over different but overlapping periods of time in a non-conflicting manner. The systems and methods may include transferring a first set of ordered items from item storage to item cache locations at a first rate during a first period of time, and fulfilling orders at a faster second rate over a later second period of time by picking items from a first set of the item cache locations at the second rate, and by replacing items at a non-overlapping second set of the item cache locations at the first rate. The transferring is commenced before the picking to create a buffer that allows a first set of actors, operating at the first rate, to continually provide the dependencies needed for a second set of actors to operate at the faster second rate without conflict and with each set of actors operating at their respective maximum rates.

  • Patent number: 11507965
Abstract: A tire inventory decision support system (100) optimizes tire allocations across a plurality of trade areas for local tire dealers, as well as regional trade areas for tire repositories as regional fulfillment hubs. The system defines trade areas having demographic tire demand characteristics and corresponding to an available inventory population for respective dealers. For each trade area, optimal dealer inventory populations are projected for tire sizes and brands, based in part on the available inventory population for the dealer an actual inventory population for the associated tire repository. The system compares the optimal inventory population for each dealer to actual inventory population, and selectively generates dealer interfaces displaying recommendations for tire inventory modification based on value propositions as disparities between the optimal and actual inventory populations.

  • Patent number: 11062334
Abstract: One embodiment provides a method for predicting revenue change in a ledger including receiving, by a processor device, revenue data with timestamps for a number of historical periods at a particular level, with attributes of the particular level and a percentage of the required revenue change. The data is filtered. The filtered data is aggregated at the particular level for a selected prediction. A sliding window of the number of historical periods is moved over business periods, creating a data point for each historical period temporal window by extracting features. A required target output is created for each data point for at least one future time period. A statistical classification model is trained to predict the revenue change. A set of recent histories is converted into a quantitative health value.

  • Patent number: 11042891
Abstract: One embodiment provides optimizing potential revenue savings when predicting client revenue change including receiving revenue data with timestamps for a number of historical periods at a particular level, with attributes of the particular level and a percentage of the required revenue change. The data is filtered. The filtered data is aggregated at the particular level for a selected prediction. A sliding window of the number of historical periods is moved over business periods, creating a data point for each historical period temporal window by extracting features. A required target output is created for each data point for at least one future time period. A weight is assigned to each data point proportional to value of revenue. A model is trained to optimize a weighted linear combination of losses over each data point. A set of recent histories is converted into a quantitative health value.

  • Patent number: 10922638
Abstract: In some embodiments, methods and systems of prioritizing retrieval of products from a plurality of bins at a retail sales facility are described. The methods include receiving an identification of a product being binned at a retail sales facility, then determining the size of the product, and then ranking the products in the bins based on the time stamp of a time of binning of the product. The physical size of the product and the ranking of the product are correlated to a size of the bins to determine the relative physical locations of the products in the bins. A pick of a product from a bin is generated based on a determination that the location of the product to be picked in one of the bins is higher than a location of at least one identical product in at least another one of the bins.

  • Patent number: 10909602
Abstract: A system for mobile communication device upgrade delivery and configuration. The system comprises a processor, a non-transitory memory, and a business process management application stored in the non-transitory memory. When executed by the processor, the application receives a message from a device upgrade client application executing on a mobile communication device requesting an upgrade mobile communication device, accesses data associated with the mobile communication device requesting the upgrade device stored in an interaction history data store, and analyzes the data accessed from the interaction history data store. The business process management application further, based on the analysis of the data and based on the model of upgrade device, recommends pick-up of the upgrade device in a retail store, identifies a retail store, and sends a recommendation message to the device upgrade client application that the upgrade mobile communication device be picked up at the retail store.
