  • Patent number: 8225694
Abstract: A piston rod assembly for coupling between a power end and a fluid end of a high pressure reciprocating pump. Part cylindrical members are clamped together via pistons arranged orthogonally to the rod axis. The members grip the power and fluid end components in a knuckle joint or ball and socket. By providing orthogonal loading, a large contact area is obtained between the members and the components, which gives a mechanical advantage in keeping the parts together even when a maximum reciprocating force is applied by the pump.

A first rotation member and a second rotation member are installed in the tube and respectively have a first recess and a second recess. An elastic member is restricted in a space defined between the first and second recesses. The elastic member includes two opposite first and second elastic portions which protrude out from the first and second rotation members. The first and second elastic portions are engaged with the first and second teeth, respectively. When rotating the handle connected with the first rotation member, the first elastic portion moves over the first teeth, the second elastic portion simultaneously moves over the second teeth.

  • Patent number: 8157450
Abstract: A bearing is disclosed. The bearing has an inner ring concentrically disposed with an outer ring with rotational elements therebetween adapted for allowing rotational movement of the inner ring relative to the outer ring. The outer ring has a crowned outer surface. A waveform expansion sleeve is disposed about the outer ring. The waveform expansion sleeve has a cylindrical outer surface dimensioned to be received in a bore of a bearing housing and an inner surface with a profile matching the outer ring outer surface. The waveform expansion sleeve has an undulating radial cross-section sufficient to exert radial pressure at its inner surface against the outer ring outer surface when mounted in the bore of the bearing housing to sufficiently secure the bearing in the housing. The expansion sleeve inner surface forms a seal with the outer ring outer surface when the bearing is installed in the bearing housing.

  • Patent number: 8028605
Abstract: A circular dividing table includes a brake assembly, in which the piston return spring urges the annular piston with the bottom face of its annular groove. The piston retracts backward and the floating pad return plate contacts the bracket extending inward within the cylindrical bore of the floating pad, thus urging the floating pad backward. Due to the backward displacement of the floating pad, the floating pad is forced to retract from the brake disc. Using a circular dividing table equipped with such a brake assembly, it is possible to release the clamping members forcibly and to make the action of clamping or unclamping precise and conducted with a high responsive speed.
