Abstract: Provided is a door handle device which can prevent rattling of a handle grip using an existing base member. A door handle device includes: a base member having a first shaft portion or a first bearing portion formed on one end side thereof, and having a guide hole which has a restricting portion projecting into an inner space formed on the other end side thereof; a handle grip having a second bearing portion which rotatably supports the first shaft portion or a second shaft portion which is rotatably supported by the first bearing portion on one end side thereof, and having an inserting portion advanceable into and retractable from the guide hole formed on the other end side thereof; and a slide guide having a slide contact portion which is brought into slide contact with the restricting portion.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device for an actuation handle, having an actuation bolt, which has at least one section along its longitudinal axis (A) having at least one outer edge on its circumference. The device comprises a housing having a first receiving section for receiving an energy converter for supplying electrical energy to a radio transmitter by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy, and an aperture for the actuation bolt, wherein the aperture has a second receiving section for rotatably accommodating the section of the actuation bolt having at least one outer edge. The device is characterized in that the first receiving section is disposed such that it is adjacent to the aperture, wherein a switch element of the energy converter extends into a rotational path of the at least one outer edge when the energy converter is in a receiving state, and can be actuated such that it causes a switching by means of the at least one outer edge during a rotation of the actuation bolt.

Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock equipped with a locking mechanism, an actuation lever mechanism acting on said locking mechanism, and a locking element. The locking element disables the actuation lever mechanism when accelerating forces of a defined magnitude occur, for example in the event of an accident. According to the invention the locking element is a transmission lever which can be impinged upon by a locking unit and is located between the actuation lever mechanism and the locking mechanism.
Abstract: A door lock for a household electrical appliance has an electric door switch with two contact elements, a pusher and a pusher control element. The pusher presses against a first contact element that holds the door switch in one of the two switching states. When the pusher is displaced from a first pusher position to a second pusher position, the door switch transfers into the other of the two switching states. The pusher control element, which is movable relative to the pusher, moves from one of the two control positions to the other on closing of the door. The pusher control element has a control path where a first path section blocks the pusher against displacement from the first pusher position to the second pusher position and a second path section provides the pusher with space for a displacement from the first pusher position to the second pusher position.
Abstract: An electromagnetic holding magnet and a method for manufacturing the same, and an electromagnetic locking element that, that in a preferred embodiment, is a lock in a container of an oxygen emergency supply system of an aircraft. The electromagnetic holding magnet includes a yoke and a retaining plate interacting with the yoke as an anchor. At least one permanent magnet generates a magnetic retaining flux in the yoke that includes a first yoke leg and a second yoke leg as well as a middle pole. The middle pole is surrounded in sections by a magnetic coil. The first and second yoke legs are arranged symmetrically in relation to the middle pole and the magnetic coil.
Abstract: A wafer container with a latch mechanism that provides sealing for large wafer containers, such as for 450 mm wafers, accomplishes secure door closing and latching with reduced torque requirements for rotating the central rotatable cam plate. In various embodiments, a camming slot formed in the rotatable cammed plate is arcuate and defined by opposing cam surfaces which are selectively engaged by a cam follower, such as a roller, attached to a proximal end of a latch arm. The roller can include unitary axle portions that snap into the proximal end of the latch arm and is supported at both axial ends of the roller. The proximal end of the latch arm can include parallel extensions separated by a gap, and have guide in surfaces to deflect the extensions as the axle portions of the roller are forced into position thereby seating the roller at both axial ends.
Abstract: A deadbolt cushioning system includes: a deadbolt cushioning structure attached to a door frame so that when a door with a fully extended deadbolt closes from a wide open position toward a closed position the extended deadbolt impacts the deadbolt cushioning structure. The deadbolt cushioning structure for preventing the extended deadbolt from impacting the door frame and for preventing the extended deadbolt from impacting a strike plate attached to the door frame. The deadbolt cushioning structure may include at least first and second telescoping housings with a biasing structure (e.g., foam and/or spring) provided therebetween. When the deadbolt impacts the deadbolt cushioning structure the biasing structure compresses and the second housing slides relative to the first structure and moves toward the face of the door frame to which the first housing is affixed.
Abstract: There is disclosed an exit trim that permits simplified changing of the handing of a lever handle between a left hand and a right hand orientation. The handing orientation of the lever handle can be repositioned without disassembling the exit trim or removing components positioned within the exit trim.

Abstract: A window security device has a support rod capable of securely contacting an upper window frame and a lower window frame. The device has two horizontal arms extending from away from the support rod terminating in thin blades capable of sliding between a first stationary window and a second sliding window sash. The device prevents unwanted tampering with the device by children located on the inside of the window as well as burglars located on the exterior of the window and to be easily removed in the event of a fire. The length of the device's blade can be adjusted allow a window to safely remain open a specified distance, and the device's arms can be adjusted to fit many different widths of windows. When the blades are disposed between the windows, the window is slid open and contacts the window stop, located at the end of the horizontal arms.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle door handle that prevents the door from opening in the event of a collision, and in particular, a side collision. The door handle also minimizes the sound attendant with the return of the door handle to a closed position. The handle for the vehicle door includes: a handle base having a rotatable base lever; and a handle grip connected to the handle base, wherein the base lever includes a shaft and a damping unit installed in the shaft, and wherein the damping unit is configured to buffer the rotation speed of the shaft.
Abstract: A system and method for detecting tampering with a seal is provided. A loop seal tamper indicating device includes a seal wire that may be passed through a secured item or container to form a loop with the free ends of the seal wire passing through a seal housing. A plunger body including an adhesive-filled cavity is inserted into the seal housing, such that a piston expresses the adhesive into the space between the seal housing and the plunger body. The adhesive may contain reflective particles and is cured to fix the particles and the adhesive in place. A reference image may be taken to record the unique identifier and reflective signature of the adhesive. Future validation images may be compared to the reference image to determine whether the reflective signature has changed, thus indicating that the seal has been tampered with.

Abstract: The aim of the invention is to provide a locking mechanism for a lock, which can be opened quietly. To achieve this aim, a lock is proposed comprising a locking mechanism with a rotary latch, a locking pawl for locking the rotary latch in a detent position and a braking pawl which initially can brake a rotary motion of the rotary latch that occurs after or during a movement of the locking pawl out of its detent position. Opening sounds can be reduced by means of this initial braking action. The lock also comprises a driving dog mechanism with a translatory action that can lift the braking pawl out of its braking position. This ensures that the braking pawl is moved out of its braking position in a reliable manner so that the lock can be opened.
