Abstract: A method and a communication device for determining a score relating to a first agent module are described. The communication device receives information relating to at least one request, performed by another agent module separate from the first agent module, for consumption of a capability of the first agent module. The information relating to the at least one request includes information about the capability of the first agent module, information about an intention of the first agent module, and information about a policy for the capability. The communication device calculates the score in relation to the first agent module based on the information relating to the at least one request, wherein the score further is specified with respect to the capability.

The control unit acquires setting information about the availability of the system providing the service and performance of the service and determines the data control policy applied to the storage area, based on the setting information. Abstract: A distributed system is adapted to manage the performance of distributed processes. In one aspect, multiple stripes associated with a data item are stored in a distributed storage. The stored stripes may include one or more stripes of redundancy information for the data item. The stored stripes may include one or more copies of stripes for the data item. A distributed process including at least one task is performed. During performance of the distributed process, a determination is made as to whether to perform an accelerated data retrieval operation. Responsive to a determination to perform an accelerated data retrieval operation, at more than the minimal number stripes information required to reconstruct the data item is requested from the distributed storage. After a sufficient subset of stripes associated with the data item is received, the data item is reconstructed using the subset.

Abstract: A method for updating at least one message exchanged in an instant messaging conversation between a terminal and a conversational agent. The at least one message includes at least one validity indicator and a user interaction element intended to be restored by the terminal. The method includes: detecting an event relating to obsolescence of at least one of the messages of the conversation; selecting, according to a feature of the detected event, at least one obsolete message of the conversation; modifying the validity indicator in the selected messages; and restoring modified messages depending on a value of the validity indicator.

Abstract: The present invention discloses methods and systems for transmitting a received packet at a first network node through an aggregated connection. The first network node determines session information of the received packet and determines whether a new tunnel needs to be selected for transmitting the received packet. When a new tunnel needs to be selected, a hash result is determined. The hash result is substantially based on the session information and the number of available tunnels. A first tunnel is determined for transmitting the received packet according to the hash result. The session information and tunnel ID of the first tunnel is then stored in a first database. The received packet is transmitted through the first tunnel. When a new tunnel need not be selected, a lookup is performed to determine a tunnel ID substantially based on the session information. The received packet is transmitted through the determined tunnel.

The method includes receiving an electronic message including actionable object data and textual object data from a message source device. The actionable object data includes parameters actionable by at least one data processing transaction device to perform data processing transactions external to the network device and the textual object data including descriptors of the parameters actionable by the at least one data processing transaction device. The textual object data is operable by devices incompatible with the actionable object data. The method includes calculating an execution command for the data processing transaction in response to the actionable object data and based on at least the parameters of the actionable object data.

Abstract: A device and media redirection technique is provided for a browser-based remote desktop client. A browser extension can be employed in conjunction with a browser-based remote desktop client to detect when the browser-based remote desktop client is attempting to establish a remote session. The browser extension can delay the establishment of the remote session until after the browser extension has registered to receive notifications pertaining to the remote session. Once the remote session is established, the browser extension will be notified and provided details of the remote session. The browser extension can then provide these details to the client-side proxy to enable the proxy to commence redirecting devices to or redirecting media from the remote session.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, providing radio access information to a first server of an IP multimedia subsystem network to cause the first server to establish an interface between the first server and a second server for providing the radio access information to the second server, where the interface does not utilize an S14 interface, and where the providing of the radio access information to the second server causes the second server to discover access networks in proximity to the communication device and to manage connections to the access networks. For example, the coordinator device can prefetch an image in response to receiving a doorbell event notification from a doorbell accessory so that the captured image is contemporaneous with the doorbell event and to avoid making multiple subsequent requests for the same image from the camera accessory when multiple user devices request the captured image. The coordinator device can store the image received from the camera accessory and serve the image to user devices when the user devices request a snapshot image corresponding to the doorbell event.

Abstract: Systems and methods for geofence information delivery are disclosed. A multiplicity of devices constructed and configured in network communication in a region of interest via a peer-to-peer network. The multiplicity of devices store cached geofence information for the region of interest. The multiplicity of devices on the peer-to-peer network are operable to convert between an IP address and a geographic location. Each of the multiplicity of devices is operable to query peer devices on the peer-to-peer network for geofences associated with an IP address or a geographic location. At least one peer device is operable to deliver one or more geofences associated with the IP address to the querying device via zero-configuration networking or web service.

Abstract: Examples provide a configurable connection reset system for customized distribution of incoming traffic to a plurality of servers. The connection reset component routes incoming service requests to active servers based on server performance, configurable server failure criteria, user-selected inactive threshold wait time-period for each server and per-client distribution configurations, including server priorities and user-selected distribution methodology or combination of distribution methodologies. A configurable wait time-period is assigned to each inactive server removed from a distribution rotation for the incoming traffic. A next received request to the next available server for the identified client. An inactive server is updated to active status and returned to the distribution rotation after expiration of the configurable wait time-period.
