Patent number: 12211095Abstract: An image of a check that is in the field of view of a camera is monitored prior to the image of the check being captured. The camera is associated with a mobile device. When the image of the check in the field of view passes monitoring criteria, an image may be taken by the camera and provided from the mobile device to a financial institution. The image capture may be performed automatically as soon as the image of the check is determined to pass the monitoring criteria. The check may be deposited in a user's bank account based on the image. Any technique for sending the image to the financial institution may be used. Feedback may be provided to the user of the camera regarding the image of the check in the field of view.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2024Date of Patent: January 28, 2025Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Michael Patrick Bueche, Jr., Bharat Prasad, Minya Liang, Reynaldo Medina, Charles Lee Oakes, III

Patent number: 12205138Abstract: Selection strategies for a direct marketing campaign that identifies consumers from a credit bureau or other consumer database are refined on a stable subset of the credit database. Once refined, consumer selection criteria may be used to execute the direct marketing campaign on the full consumer/credit database. The data for the test database represents a random sampling of approximately 10% of the full database and the sampling is regenerated approximately weekly in order to provide a stable set of data on which campaign developers test their campaign. For each consumer in the sampling, the environment allows a client to access and use attributes calculated by the credit bureau and proprietary attributes and data owned by the client. The system allows for a plurality of clients to use the system substantially simultaneously while protecting the privacy and integrity of the client's proprietary data and results.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2023Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: Experian Information Solutions, Inc.Inventors: Laura J. Patent number: 12205164Abstract: Systems and methods of generating rating indicators for a portfolio of financial assets are described. A machine learning model is trained using a training data set that includes one or more qualitative features and one or more first quantitative features to generate an output predictor of the performance of the portfolio. The qualitative features are converted into quantitative features before being used as input to the machine learning model. Input features are generated for a new portfolio of financial assets whose rating indicator is to be generated, and fed into the trained machine learning model to generate a new output predictor for the new portfolio of financial assets. The rating indicator for the new portfolio of financial assets is determined based at least on the generated new output predictor.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2024Date of Patent: January 21, 2025Assignee: 2GENPEN LLCInventors: Bailu Pan, Laurence H. Patent number: 12190358Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus that improves automated damage appraisal includes analyzing one or more obtained images of property using a deep neural network with multiple hidden layers of units between an input and output and which has stored knowledge data encoded from one or more stored property damage images to identify the part of the vehicle that has sustained damage. Damage data on an extent of the damage in the identified part of the vehicle is determined using the deep neural network which has stored knowledge data encoded from one or more stored property damage images. The identified generic part of the vehicle is used to obtain a corresponding Part ID Code by using a parts dictionary. Part Qualifier information obtained using VIN information is then used in conjunction with the Part ID to obtain the OEM-specific part and then generate one or more repair lines for the repair estimate.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2020Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: Mitchell International, Inc.Inventors: Jerry Gastineau, Niv Genchel, Julian Louis, Beau Sullivan

Patent number: 12182306Abstract: A method for safeguarding data in dynamic relational order management involves receiving a data feed and a dynamic order with various order attributes, including a protected dataset and an unprotected dataset. The protected dataset, containing a request type and a reserve execution threshold, is obfuscated from display on a respondent system. Instructions are transmitted to the respondent system to present a proposal request dataset for executing the dynamic order, comprising the unprotected dataset and the data feed. A proposal response dataset is received from the respondent system, including first and second execution values. Adjusted values are generated based on the received data, and an execution action is performed when the adjusted execution values meet the adjusted reserve execution threshold.Type: GrantFiled: April 19, 2024Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Inventor: Stephen K.
