Abstract: A wire feeder including a housing having wire inlet and outlet regions. In some approaches, a tensioning assembly includes a pivotable tension arm and a pivotable tension knob assembly. The pivotable tension arm has a pivot axis oriented perpendicular to the direction of a wire fed through the wire feeder, while the pivotable tension knob assembly has a pivot axis oriented parallel to the direction of the wire fed through the wire feeder. A roller assembly includes a drive roller rotatably coupled to the pivotable tension arm, and a feed roller coupled to the housing. The feed roller is positionable opposite the drive roller to receive a welding wire therebetween and to move the welding wire from the wire inlet region to the wire outlet region. A gear assembly transmits rotational motion from a motor to the feed roller.

Abstract: A system and method for removing a metal foil shield from electrical wires and/or cable, using ablation process, shear stress generation and video camera feedback is disclosed. The metal foil shield is removed using ablation process, shear stress generation and video camera feedback. The system includes a holder configured to hold an electrical cable, a laser configured to provide a laser radiation beam and an optical system configured to shape the laser radiation beam and concentrate the laser radiation beam on surface of the metal foil shield with power sufficient to ablate a groove on the surface of the metal shield and a gripper configured to grip a segment of the electrical cable that protrudes from the holder twist it such as to generate a shear stress in the groove and separate the segment of the electrical cable from the rest of the cable.

Abstract: A compact system that accurately process a workpiece includes a first processing device including a laser head that moves with respect to a plate-shaped workpiece in a first processing region to process the workpiece, a fork device that supports the workpiece in the first processing region, a transfer device that holds and transfers the workpiece supported by the fork device, and a second processing device including a processing tool that moves in a direction intersecting a transfer direction of the workpiece in a second processing region and processes the workpiece, the second processing region being located in a portion of a transfer path of the workpiece transferred by the transfer device.

Abstract: A wooden barrel apparatus for aging products includes an inner wooden barrel positioned in an outer wooden barrel. A first volume may be defined within the inner wooden barrel. A second volume may be defined between the inner wooden barrel and the outer wooden barrel. One or more surfaces of the inner wooden barrel and the outer wooden barrel may be charred.
