  • Patent number: 9403308
Abstract: A molding tool for producing a component in a gas-assisted injection molding process includes a mold cavity, and an injection device with a pressurized gas source. The pressurized gas is fed into the plastic melt introduced into the mold cavity. The plastic melt is pressed against the inner walls of the mold cavity. The injection device has a piston with an injector head and moveably guided in a passage of a molding tool connected with the mold cavity. The injector head forms a part of the inner walls of the mold cavity in an idle position of the piston, and is pressed into the plastic melt as the piston moves to its operating position, so that the pressurized gas flows through the passage into the plastic melt in the mold cavity. The piston is moveable by the gas fed through the passage into the plastic melt.

  • Patent number: 9381686
Abstract: A molding die is devised to suppress the formation of a fragile layer, thereby ensuring stable production of a resin molded body having remarkably improved adhesion of a plating film. A plurality of stepped parts are formed so as to be spaced apart from each other on a second die surface which molds a back surface on the side opposite to a design surface to which metal plating is to be applied, along the main flowing direction of a molten resin and in a direction crossing the main flowing direction. Since the flow of the molten resin changes due to the stepped parts and the influence thereof extends even to the vicinity of the design surface, the formation of a fragile layer is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 9333689
Abstract: Provided is a take-out robot including a load cell in a rotating unit to allow an injection molded product to be attached to an adhesive unit, measure a weight of the injection molded product, and determine whether the injection molded product is desirable or faulty. A chucking device of measuring the weight may be installed to prevent a vertical load during the taking out and a force during the conveying from being applied to the load cell, and allow the force to be applied to the load cell only when reaching a weight measuring point. Further, a cut portion may be formed to have a stepped boundary surface in the load cell and thus, a stopper function may be performed against bending deflection of the load cell when a load is applied so that the load cell may be protected without an additional chucking device of measuring the weight.
