  • Patent number: 8696338
Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a capsule by using vegetable gelatin is provided. Heating units are installed in a gelatin feeding line, which feeds gelatin in the form of a sheet, and a molding line to feed the gelatin in a predetermined temperature. The molded capsule is conveyed through a conveyer so that the molded capsule is stably dried and cured and a temperature of the conveyer is adjusted to control a temperature of the capsule. A length of the drying line is maximally increased within a narrow space, so that a film of the capsule made of the vegetable gelatin is gradually cured and dried without abrupt temperature variation, thereby preventing crack from occurring in the capsule, and preventing bonding parts of the capsule from being torn to improve the commercial value of the capsule.

  • Patent number: 8690563
Abstract: A hot runner apparatus includes a mold plate defining a pocket; a plurality of sub-manifolds; and a bridge manifold positioned in the pocket and between the sub-manifolds. The bridge manifold and the sub-manifolds are oriented in a common plane. The bridge manifold receives a melt from a melt source. Each of the sub-manifolds is coupled to the bridge manifold to receive the melt from the bridge manifold via a junction between an opening of a network of melt channels within the bridge manifold and an opening of a network of melt channels within each of the sub-manifolds. The sub-manifolds are urged against the bridge manifold to form a seal therebetween, when the bridge manifold and the sub-manifolds thermally expand urging the sub-manifolds against contact regions of a pair of opposing walls of the pocket. The respective opposing walls define a hollow region separated from the respective contact regions by a wall portion.

  • Patent number: 8651846
Abstract: A reference physical quantity and a current physical quantity are successively compared with each other in association with an elapsed time during which a moving part operates or an operating position of the moving part, and a deviation of the physical quantity is determined. An average of absolute values of the determined deviations of the physical quantities is calculated, and a threshold corresponding to the elapsed time during which the moving part operates or the operating position of the moving part is calculated such that the threshold increases as the calculated absolute value increases. Abnormality is detected if the calculated threshold is exceeded by the determined deviation of the physical quantity.

  • Patent number: 8636495
Abstract: A movable unit in an injection molding machine is started to operate and the current physical quantity and the current time (or current position of the movable unit) are detected. The current physical quantity is stored as a reference physical quantity in association with the elapsed time of operation of the movable unit (or position of the movable unit). A deviation of the current physical quantity from the reference physical quantity is calculated and stored, a distribution index value is then calculated from the physical quantity deviations in the first to n-th cycles, and a threshold value is determined from the distribution index value. When the deviation exceeds the threshold value, alarm processing is performed.
