  • Patent number: 11757543
Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure are directed to apparatuses and method for establishing signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), useful signal power level (Es) and artificial noise power level (Noc) values for new radio (NR) performance requirements. The apparatuses and methods can include processing a received signal including the Es and Noc and determining a baseband signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) degradation based on the signal power level, the artificial noise power level, and the radio-frequency noise power level. The apparatuses and methods can then determine a compensated SNR degradation, as a performance requirement, based on the baseband SNR degradation and the radio-frequency noise power level.

  • Patent number: 11751182
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for operating transceiver circuitry to transmit or receive signals on various frequency ranges. To do so, an electronic device may determine a receive delay between one or more messages received on different component carriers and may transmit the receive delay to a base station to update how communications are transmitted on one of the component carriers. The update made to at least one of the component carriers may compensate for the receive delay between the different component carriers. Compensating for the receive delay may improve operations that delay downlink communications to reduce a likelihood or stop simultaneous downlink and uplink communications by further adjusting for delays seen at an electronic device when communicating with base stations disposed at a different distances from the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11751095
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a methods, apparatus, and computer readable medium for implementing the methods for transmitting multi-bit SR (SRs) from a user equipment (UE). The UE receive from a base station a radio resource control (RRC) message from the base station. The RRC message may indicate that uplink component carriers (CCs) of the UE are to be assigned to a plurality of uplink CC groups. Upon receipt of the RRC, the UE may assign the uplink CCs to the plurality of uplink CC groups. A multi-bit SR may be generated for each group of the plurality of uplink CC groups. The UE may transmit the multi-bit SR generated for each group of the plurality of uplink CC groups to the base station. multi-bit SR transmission across different CCs may reduce latency in uplink grant and improve data transmission time.
