Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole, an upper coupled to the sole and having an inner surface and an outer surface, the upper being configured to receive at least a portion of a human foot within an interior cavity at least partially defined by the upper, a plurality of eyelets disposed on the upper, each eyelet including a pair of openings disposed in the upper, and a cord threaded through the pair of openings of each eyelet of the plurality of eyelets such that the cord includes a series of unexposed portions and a series of exposed portions. The series of exposed portions are disposed more proximate to the outer surface of the upper than the inner surface of the upper.

Abstract: A brassiere having a side-wing and a bra cup is disclosed. The bra cup has a cup portion and a flange portion attached to the side-wing. The flange portion includes a flange disposed at an inner side of the bra cup, and an outer layer being disposed at an outer side of the bra cup and coupled to the flange. Further, a portion of the side-wing is disposed between the outer layer and the flange, and is attached to the outer layer by using at least one thread line. The at least one thread line is disposed on the outer side of the bra cup. Further, the inner side of the bra cup is devoid of thread line.

Abstract: A sole structure includes a main body formed of a first material and at least one insert formed of a second material. The main body defines first portion of a ground-engaging surface including a first channel defined by a first segment extending along a first axis and a second segment extending along a second axis transverse to the first axis. The one or more inserts are received in sockets formed in the main body. The at least one insert defines a second portion of the ground-engaging surface and has a second channel including a third segment extending along a third axis parallel to the first axis and a fourth segment extending along a fourth axis transverse to the third axis and substantially parallel to the second axis. One of the first channel and the second channel defines an interface between the main body and the insert.

Abstract: Systems and apparatus related to an automated footwear platform including a button assembly for controlling a footwear lacing apparatus are discussed. In an example, the button assembly can include a bushing and an actuator. The bushing can include an actuator housing surrounded by an outer flange. The actuator housing can include an exterior side and an interior side relative to the footwear platform. The actuator can include a plurality of actuator bodies disposed within the actuator housing. Each actuator body of the plurality of actuator bodies can include a switch interface adapted to interact with a switch on a lacing engine.

Abstract: A glove is disclosed having a donning assister to enable a wearer of the glove to quickly and easily don a glove on a wearer's hand. In one embodiment, the glove includes a wrist cuff portion, a hem portion positioned at a base of the wrist cuff portion, an at least partially enclosed space formed within the hem portion, and a gripper positioned in the at least partially enclosed space. The at least partially enclosed space is defined by hem stitches and by a pair of laterally opposed stitches positioned on the palm side of the glove anywhere along a circumference of the hem portion between a thumb of the glove on one end and a pinky finger of the glove on the other end.

Abstract: A flexible cellular material is thermoregulated by compressing and expanding gas trapped in its cells A flexible elastomer material of a device that provide thermoregulation includes two layers of different shore hardness and conductivity and is has gas-filled cells. Each cell has a zone to store the gas when compressing the material in the layer C with higher hardness and thermal conductivity and another zone to expand the gas when decompressing the material in the layer D with lower hardness and thermal conductivity. The flexible material can be used as a sole in shoes to maintain a cool temperature. With each step, the cell zones located in the layer C act as adiabatic chambers whose gasses heat with compression. When the foot leaves the ground the zones of cells located in the layer D then act as a reactor nozzle that will expand the air and therefore cool it.

Abstract: An article of footwear is provided and includes a sole having a lateral side and a medial side, where the sole includes a first member and a second member attached to the first member, and the first member is separate from the second member. The first member has a sidewall that extends about a periphery of the sole and the second member has a sidewall that extends along the medial side around the heel portion and along the lateral side of the first member.

Abstract: A bra liner is an apparatus that conforms under a breast and is positioned in between the breast and a bra cup. The apparatus includes a flat liner body and at least one piece of adhesive. The flat liner body presses against the underside of a breast and an inner surface of a bra cup. The flat liner body includes an absorbent layer and a backing layer. The absorbent layer collects and retains sweat from the breast. The absorbent layer is connected across the backing layer. The absorbent layer and the backing layer are coextensive with each other. The at least one piece of adhesive is distributed across the backing layer. The at least one piece of adhesive is fixed onto the backing layer, opposite to the absorbent layer. The apparatus further includes a sealing sheet to prevent the at least one piece of adhesive from sticking to unwanted surfaces.

Abstract: Methods of forming an article of footwear using a multipart strobel structure and a resulting article of footwear comprising an upper with a transition strip are described. The transition strip that has an outer perimeter edge, an inner perimeter edge, and a width between the outer perimeter edge and the inner perimeter edge, with the inner perimeter edge defining an internal opening of the transition strip, and the inner strobel that has an outer perimeter edge. The inner strobel is positioned in an overlapping relationship with the transition strip and temporarily attached.

Abstract: A facemask system with automated voice display is disclosed. The facemask includes a covering configured to be positioned about the face of a user. At least one microphone is positioned adjacent the covering and the facemask includes a display for displaying language spoken captured by at least one microphone. A processor is in operable communication with the microphone and the display. The facemask includes a memory that contains instructions that can be executed by the processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving signals from at least one microphone, identifying language contained within the signals, and displaying the language on the display.

Abstract: A test fixture for soles includes a sole member, a heel cushion, a sole connector, a ring-shaped airbag, a torque connector, and an attaching assembly. The heel cushion is disposed on a heel section of the sole member and sandwiched in between the sole member and the sole connector. The airbag is disposed on the sole connector, and the torque connector is inserted in the airbag. The torque connector includes one end connected to the sole connector, and one opposite end connected to the attaching assembly disposed on the airbag.

Abstract: A head top has a frame for mounting on a user's head. The frame has a viewing opening for a user to see out of the frame. A shield is mounted to the frame, and can be moved between a open and closed positions. A pivot arm connects the shield to the frame and is mounted to the inside of both the frame and shield to avoid exposure. An outer mount and inner mount can also be provided to automatically adjust the width of the head top. A hinge connects them allowing the inner mount to laterally pivot with respect to the outer mount to accommodate users with different head sizes. A forehead member also adjusts to a user's forehead.

In a fixing structure for side belt fasteners, side belt fasteners (eye tape 4 and hook tape 5) of a brassiere with a hook fitting and an eye fitting sewn on tape-shaped interlinings are attached between a front fabric 10a and a back fabric 10b of the brassiere 10 via adhesive layers. Outer edges of the interlinings 4a and 5a are set back inward with a predetermined length from outer edges of the front fabric 10a and the back fabric 10b, and the back fabric 10b covering the interlinings 4a and 5a is limited to one end portions of the interlinings 4a and 5a.

Abstract: A plantar shaped shoe sole constituted by layers includes a mid-sole constituted by a body and elastically compressible protrusions protruding downward from a body lower surface, each having an axial cavity and first holes. An upper surface of the body has holes associated with first holes of each protrusion. First protrusions are arranged at a central area of the heel and forefoot of the body and have a greater protruding height than second protrusions. First and second protrusions have first and second apices, respectively, forming anatomically-contoured curved surfaces, formed at protrusion free ends, opposite the body lower surface. Each axial cavity extends from the upper surface to their respective apex. There are more forefoot region first holes of first protrusions than second protrusions. The sole includes a tread and an elastic plantar supporting structure, at least one seat on the upper surface wherein the apices are positioned on the seat.

Abstract: A method for assembling a garment portion including accessing a first garment portion, a second garment portion and a fixture, wherein the first garment portion is generally tubular and has two plies. The method further includes positioning the first garment portion on the fixture such that the fixture is positioned in the first garment portion, and wrapping the second garment portion about the first garment portion. The method further includes unrolling or unfolding at least part of the first garment portion over the second garment portion such that the second garment portion is positioned between the two plies of the first garment portion.

Abstract: An upper for an article of footwear includes a carcass layer including an interior liner defining an interior void of the upper and an exterior liner joined to the interior liner to define a plurality of resilient pads protruding from an exterior surface of the upper. In some examples, the upper includes an outer shell attached to the exterior liner of the carcass layer and including a plurality of openings each configured to receive a respective one of the resilient pads therethrough. Here, each of the resilient pads includes a distal end surface defining a first portion of a ball control surface and the outer shell defines a second portion of the ball control surface. In some implementations, each of the resilient pads includes a compressible material enclosed between the interior liner and the exterior liner. Optionally, each of the resilient pads includes a tensile element disposed therein.
