Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for presenting subtitle data during media asset fast-access playback operations. Specifically, the system may detect initiation of a fast-access playback operation during playback of a media asset and identify consecutive frames to be displayed during the fast-access playback operation that have associated subtitle data. The system may combine the subtitle data associated with the consecutive frames into a display arrangement and generate for display, with each consecutive frame, instead of the associated subtitle data, the display arrangement.
Abstract: A user feature generation method is performed at a server, the method including: acquiring n groups of timing correspondences between target videos and corresponding user accounts, each group of timing correspondences comprising user accounts that have viewed a respective target video, the user accounts being sorted according to their corresponding viewing timestamps, n being a positive integer; obtaining a word-embedding matrix by mapping the n groups of timing correspondences into the word-embedding matrix, the word-embedding matrix comprising a word vector corresponding to each user account; training the word-embedding matrix by using a loss function, the loss function being used for defining a similarity relationship between the user accounts according to a degree of similarity between their respective watch histories; and determining a word vector corresponding to each user account in the trained word-embedding matrix as a user feature of the user account.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a CATV & MoCA® device, such as a RF signal amplifier. The RF signal amplifier includes a RF input port to receive signals from, and transmit signals to, a service provider. The RF input port is connected to an active communication path with a downstream signal amplifier leading to an input of a resistive splitter network. The resistive splitter network has plural interconnected resistors, which split the amplified signal received at the input of the resistive splitter network and provide the signal to plural “CATV & MoCA®” output ports. Upstream CATV signals received by the “CATV & MoCA®” output ports are combined by the resistive splitter network and sent to the RF input port to be transmitted to the service provider. MoCA® signals received by any one of the “CATV & MoCA®” output ports are carried by the resistive splitter network to the other “CATV & MoCA®” output ports, and potentially to other “MoCA® only” ports of the RF signal amplifier.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method, device and system for synchronously playing a message stream and an audio-video stream, and involves in the field of streaming media live broadcast technology. Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for controlling access from a first content platform to content items available on a second content platform to which a user will temporarily have access in the near future. The first content platform identifies a period of time during which the user will have access to the second content platform and determines an access duration of the period of time. The first content platform retrieves a plurality of content identifiers of content items that will be available on the second content platform during the period of time. Upon receiving selection of a content identifier, the first content platform determines a duration of the content item corresponding to the selected content identifier and generates for display the content item. The first content platform then reduces the access duration by an amount of time equal to the duration of the content item.

Abstract: Techniques are described for automated operations involving capturing and analyzing information from an interior of a house, building or other structure, for use in generating and providing a representation of that interior. Abstract: A system and method for obtaining target views of a vehicle is disclosed. A seller of a vehicle may seek to obtain one or more target views of the vehicle. To obtain the target views, the user may use a smartphone with an app that accesses the video stream while the user walks around or inside the vehicle. When the app identifies a frame in the video stream as one of the target views sought, the app tags the frame as an image of one of the target views. Further, the user may provide additional input, such as voice input (as part of the video stream) or manual taps on the touchscreen of the smartphone. The additional input may be used for damage assessment or sentiment analysis of the vehicle.
