Abstract: An enhanced electronic health record system. A user device having a display accesses electronic health records and clinic note templates stored on digital storage segments. A template selection screen is presented on the display of the user device. The template selection screen has at least two view modes. One view mode is a grid view, in which icon representations of various clinic note templates are displayed, each icon representation having a number of secondary icons providing additional functionality and information to the user. Also available is a list view, which also contains a vertical listing of available clinic note templates, each list element also having secondary icons. Upon selection of a template, the user is presented with a formatted clinic note. Additional functionality is available to the user to aid in the efficient capture of information.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for editing display information in an electronic device having a touchscreen are provided. The method includes, when a first edit event occurs with a first touch maintained, storing object information of a first touch point, and when a second touch is detected, displaying an object of the first touch point on a second touch point.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling a screen in an electronic device are provided. The method includes displaying a pop-up window in a display area, disposed over another application displayed in the display area. If a movement of the pop-up window is detected, and a portion of the pop-up window reaches a predefined area of the display area, the pop-up window is removed from the display portion. A selectable icon is displayed allowing a user to redisplay the pop-up window or alter an operational state of the pop-up window.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling and modifying a live presentation are disclosed. A server system transmits presentation data to a presentation device for display. While transmitting the presentation data to the presentation device for display, the system receives one or more presentation interactions. The system then transmits each interaction stored in the interaction queue to the presentation device.

Abstract: A method for operating a terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying a text tool window; receiving an inputted character sequence and displaying all of the received character sequences on the displayed text tool window; receiving an input for deleting characters for deleting a portion of the character sequences from among all of the displayed character sequences; receiving an input for recovering characters for recovering the deleted portion of the character sequences; and recovering and displaying the deleted portion of the character sequences according to the received input for recovering characters.

Abstract: An electronic device that increases both visibility and selectability of executable programs. The electronic device includes a touch panel display having an elongated shape, a memory storing programs, and a processor controlling program execution and the display. The touch panel includes a first display region and a second display region contiguous with and narrower than the first display region. The display displays an execution image of a first program in the first display region and an icon image of a second program in the second display region in a smaller display area than the execution image. When the processor detects contact at the icon image and detects that the contact moves towards the first display region, the processor causes the display to display an execution image of the second program in the first display region.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and a photograph deletion method thereof are disclosed. The method comprises: pre-storing in the mobile terminal a preset touch gesture used for deleting a picture from a photography interface during photography, and mapping the preset touch gesture to a deletion command; receiving a user's touchscreen command to determine whether the user's touch gesture matches the preset touch gesture when the photography interface of the mobile terminal requires deletion of a picture; if yes, determining a deletion target according to action points of the touch gesture; and moving deletion target into a recycling bin. The captured picture is rapidly deleted from the photography interface through a simple touchscreen gesture without exiting the camera application program and with no need to manually switch an operation interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which may provide modules that may be displayed in the context of a website that allow for autoscrolling between the modules upon entering required information in the modules or completing actions required by the modules. The modules may be modules for paying for items via PayPal and may include modules for entering payment information, billing information, a shipping address, creating an account, and accepting terms and conditions. The modules may be displayed within the context of the webpage when selecting a pay with PayPal link without navigating away from the webpage. As a user enters information into a module, the module will automatically scroll to the next module if the module permits automatic scrolling.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for an improved three-dimensional graphical user interface. In one embodiment, the method generally comprises: receiving a plurality of inputs from a user and opening a plurality of applications in response thereto, wherein outputs from each application are displayed (e.g., individually) within a two-dimensional space. The method further comprises allowing a user to switch between the plurality of applications by generating images of each output, and displaying those images (e.g., collectively) within a three-dimensional space. The user can then interact with a particular application by selecting a corresponding one of the images displayed within the three-dimensional space. In one embodiment, the method further comprises replacing the output(s) in two-dimensional space with the images in three-dimensional space, and replacing the images in three-dimensional space with the output from the selected application in two-dimensional space.
